Been doing these 2 weeks now.. best trap exercise ever. My traps are getting much thicker , and it’s filling in all around the collar bone too. No more 35 40 kilo shrugs with no results, those 2 exercises are amazing and I don’t have to go as heavy . Traps looking great especially in a T-shirt,

All of these exercises are great for traps, but at the end of the day genetics play a big part in the size of your traps, look at all of the other Pro bodybuilders and I'm pretty sure they work their traps out ,probably with the same exercises and they have noway near the size of traps Jonny has. I was a few years behind NFL player Takeo Spikes in High school and I remember his massive neck and traps were like that back in Grade school, it was something he was born with
@josephlabajosa40756 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just just look at kai greene. The dude is a mass monster but there are guys in 212 with more developed or even bigger traps than him. It's probably the reason why his back lat spread look weird in my opinion.

I'm not sure why they say not to bend the elbows but I did the upright behind the back with elbow bend and dumbbells...the stretch is insane! I actually got the idea from Mike O'Hearn using a Shrug Machine inverted for the same movement. You will not be disappointed. Love the work and tips Johnnie! Mans a legend 🔥

Seen this type of shrug been done when I first started lifting, but you never see people doin this seated shrug these days, started doing these afew weeks ago and it really hits the traps very effectively, thanks, it makes sense, hitting the traps from where they begin, oldskool body building is the best, the worst thing to come in to lifting was science. Oldskool is the best.
