Fantastic! Your videos are a lot of fun to watch. Like how concise this one is and looking forward to blood sugar levels video. I have low blood sugar that occasionally drops extremely low even though I'm not diabetic. A nutritionist saved my life years ago by teaching me how to eat balanced meals. She said it would benefit everyone to eat the way diabetics eat. I was eating very high carb and was suffering from anxiety, shakiness, weakness, nausea, headaches, blurred vision, and dizziness. The worst part was feeling so out of control from the anxiety. I was amazed at how changing my diet and making sure I had enough protein and fats with each meal relieved and even eliminated my symptoms. I was told to stop having juices and to reduce my sweets intake drastically. I didn't think it was possible to eat only 1/2 cup of ice cream, but now I usually have only 1/4 cup or less on the occasions when I have sweets. I can't stand the way my body reacts to having carbs without protein (including fruits and whole grains), so I'm conscious about making good food choices. Your channel will benefit many. Thank you!

I love this! I'm taking a basic nutrition course right now and one of the most important things for me is to be able to apply the concepts that I am learning and this video does that in an amazingly concise way! Your videos are definitely some of my favorite to watch and the most informative. :)

love this series! Would love to learn more about how these macronutrients relate to diet, how much to consume (40% carbs, etc.), basically breaking down what people mean when they are saying they are counting macros and how those different ratios impact the body.

I love you Becca. You're smart, beautiful, knowledgeable and likeable! This is a great video. I now understand the whole "refinement" grain process and why they're bad and why you hear they've had the nutrition sucked out of them. I think so many people chuck around general terms, especially in KZbin without the in depth explanation and science. I find nutrition extremely interesting, but not sure I have the intelligence to deal with the in depth science! Thanks! Please always make videos. 💕👍

do you have any guidelines for how many fruits and veggies we should aim for a day? I try to get 5-7 and have them be different colors, I would assume more is better, but what is a good minimum goal?

Becca! Can you do a video about your opinion of being vegan? I've watched quite a few documentaries (Forks Over Knives, What the Health, etc.) that have scared me away from eating meat and dairy... Do you think meat and dairy are safe to eat?
@martialkintu20356 жыл бұрын
It is. What you watched was biased vegan propaganda. We humans have always been omnivores therefore it's only healthy for us to eat a varied diet and avoid overconsumption of any foods, not just meat and dairy. If you want to learn about veganism then I suggest that you learn from as much from ex vegans.

She said nothing about coconut oil besides a lot of nothing. coconut oil has a high burning point which allows it to not get oxidize while you are cooking with it, therefore reducing the free radicals that most oils produce. She is basically feeding you the basics that most people should know, which is BS. This is what the media does. I am including a link to a video that breaks it down and actually explains why coconut oil isn't bad for cooking, now putting it in your coffee i don't know why anyone would do that. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2qVaH2OebuBqKc
