Favourite combination for a buddha bowl is noodles, red pepper, cucumber, kidney beans, spinach and avocado with a sauce of peanut butter, tahini, soy sauce and lemon

Madeleine, darling, just a quick tip in regards to cutting veggies: I know sweet potatoes are hard to cut, but I have noticed you’re using the tip of the knife which make things harder. Get a smaller chefs knife and use the first 2/3 instead when applying the pressure, and things will become way easier. It’s the body of the knife which is supposed to work, not the tip. Good luck! ❤️

We actually ate it all before it got spoiled, but it lasted for around 4 days and it was still good and tasty.

@@adriencsornok9628 it doesn't taste exactly like tuna but it has similar flavours! Add some chopped up nori (seaweed) sheets for a more fishy flavour :)

If you add pieces of the seaweed sushi rolls, it gives it even more tuna taste and adds more nutrients to your lunch. :)

would probably toast the bread before putting the vegan tuna on it, so it doesnt get soggy during the day. thank for the recipes!

Mária Nagyová what I do is I have those divider containers and before I go to work I put the bread in one side and the “tuna” or whatever I am making on the other side. Then when I’m on my break time I just sit down and put the toppings/tuna/whatever on the bread so it doesn’t get soggy all day :) I did that today. I also put my sauce of choice in a tiny little plastic food jar from Walmart and I put that in my lunchbox too and then I just put it on my bread and assembled a sandwich

My favorite Buddha bowl combo is: Brown rice, yams/sweet potatoes, portabello mushrooms, snow peas, onions, avocado with miso vinaigrette or tahini and cilantro pesto!! So yummy and satisfying 🤤

A very tipical Chinese thing to do in my family is to fry TINY pieces of garlic untill it turns golden brown and add it on top of my rice,noodles and rice porridge. Any leftover oil on the pan I either cook something in it or store it. The same goes for TINY bits of onion too. Ypu should try it. It makes all the difference!!!!!!!

So I started taking an interest in healthier food last month, I reduced my meat consumption and when I cooked for myself I mostly cooked vegetatian or vegan food. What I've noticed so far: No need to worry about the meat being not tasty (because of fat or "bones", which I hate when meat has that), veggies are way cheaper and especially now it's a lot easier to buy food which was grown near me. In addition to that, I came to the conclusion that if I cook myself I'll like vegetables that I didn't like before :)

Thanks for sharing. My favourite combination when it comes to a buddha bowl is: chopped raw carrot, tomato, cucumber, bellpepper, quinoa, cashew sauce, chick peas and some roasted potatoes

Can I just say thank you for having such an awesome channel? Your recipes are so simple and easy to make, which has been my main impediment when I've been first trying to slowly transition to a vegan lifestyle. I also appreciate how you mentioned that olive oil can be a substitute for vegan mayo in these recipes, I don't think I've seen anyone else mention that and it's so helpful to know. I feel you make transitioning to veganism/making vegan meals so easy :)

Hey Madeleine! Loved the recipes, I'll surely try them. I'm not vegan but they look super yummy and make me want to eat all of them right now. :D May I please have a request for you? It's sometimes really hard to read the subtitles you add in recipes since you often have light things (like a bowl) in the background. If you could add a black or even gray outline to the text, I'm sure that'd increase the visibility. Thank you and please keep these coming!!

I hope it's okay if I piggy back on this. I love these videos, so beautiful and such good recipes always! A lot of times when I'm watching videos I'm multitasking (eating, cooking, getting ready, etc) and I've noticed with your recipe videos that the narration misses a lot of information. Watching this video, I was glancing over occasionally and midway through I realized I had no idea what any of the recipes you had already talked about even were. Basically, if you're not watching the entire thing intently, it's not clear what's going on. This can be problematic for anyone in my situation and can also drive away blind/visually impaired viewers. I understand if you don't want to add lots to narration, but even just saying what the recipes and ingredients are might be really helpful for some. Either way, this was a gorgeous video and I'm excited to try some of these out!! Thank you for creating your content

I made the sundried tomato & pasta salad because I already had the ingredients. I used lots of fresh basil and cherry tomatoes from my garden and added olives and parmesan cheese. It was good.

Pro-tip To cut a sweet potato easily it’s usually best to cut it into like slithers? rather then chop it straight down the middle, so like making little flat circles of sweet potato starting from the edge, when you cut through the centre it’s usually hard to get the knife out.

Yes, school is getting back in session everywhere around here in New England, USA. Since I have a nice new batch of my homemade kimchi, I had that every day to my lunch, but unfortunately I have to eat it outside, because I would never hear the end of it in regard to the smell of it. Great kimchi doesn't smell good... LOL. I also lately have been adding fresh figs to my lunch because they're in season.

my fav buddha bowl is kale sauteed in apple cider vinegar, baked purple sweet potato, tempeh, avocado, and an almond butter tamari dressing x

Love this video because it shows you don't always have to be so complicated to eat vegan. All simple but delicious I'm sure. Cooking is really all about the spices and how you cook things. My favorite buddha bowl is one with quinoa, roasted cauliflower and sweet potato, chickpeas and massaged kale. Then I top with a soaked cashew sriracha sauce with some nooch and other spices added and bam. Lunch for the week. lol

I love seeing different vegans take on chickpea salad! I have four little vegan kiddos and we eat this at least twice per week for lunch. I'm going to try your recipe next week. Also, those roasted veg were gorgeous!

Marie Johnson your kids are so lucky I wish I was raised vegan but I wasn’t even raised vegetarian (I am now). Your kids must be so healthy and it’s so good for their bodies 💜

Fave buddha bowl is defo with quinoa, spinach, roasted chickpeas, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots and avo 😍 i usually just drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over it as dressing yummmm x

Sweet Potatoes are loaded with vitamins and nutrients so we like to keep them in our diet. We're vegetarian as well in the US. Im not sure if there are Juicers in the U.K. but if so you should try juicing the sweet potato to get the benefits as well!! You don't have to worry about chopping so much and it taste pretty good when mixed with the right pairs. Great video🙏

the “tuna” is soo good omg i like the flavor more than real tbh, but mine got super clumpy and some chickpeas we’re still whole after like 1 min and a half of blending idk why

I love all of your recipe videos!! I personally am not vegan, but tend to not eat meat because I find it gross to cook with, and I’m lactose intolerant so I can’t have dairy! Your recipes are always really helpful and I often use these for my lunches at work :)

I usually make my budda bowls with couscous and chickpeas and mushroom then whatever fresh veg we have got (usually capsicum sometimes spinach or celery etc)
