OH MY GOSH. The nostalgia for me. I vividly remember my mom making these during the summertime while I played outside. She would also add seafood like shrimp and squid and her just feeding it to me. It brings back so many happy memories, and she’s still making them to this day which makes me very happy.

My grandmother also added squid, and sometimes the baby anchovies too. I loved picking out the anchovies and eating them by itself lol but I’d always eat the rest too. Anchovies we’re always first!

That's the traditional way to make pancakes ! Eyeball everything until it reaches pancake batter thickness.

I’ve been excited about things like pans since I was a kid lol. I’ve always loved cooking but I think being adult and getting your own stuff or having a better idea of what works makes it more exciting. You’re feeding yourself and others that’s so rewarding and beautiful

I love how Simple the recipes are and not having to measure the ingredients. In sone cases it might be necessary but just cooking for the joy of it, discovering and creating new flavors is the best way to go.

I more often than not, make my Korean pancakes using Bisquick original and just add an egg and enough water to your desired consistency and BOI that ish is bomb. Seafood and scallion pancakes, Haemul Paejeon is my absolute fav

It's even better when you can inherit a well loved cast iron skillet from your grandmother, because then it's likely to be fantastically well seasoned.

You need to make a Puerto Rican Mallorca sandwich with powdered sugar, egg, cheese and ham 🇵🇷👏. Sweet and savory perfect breakfast and it has to be real homemade Mallorca bread and then it will be served with a good coffee preferably black with a bit of milk and brown sugar to your taste.

I'm going to need to check out that dish especially since I live in a city with a large Puerto Rican population. It makes cooking Latin food easier as there's a decent chance I'll be able to find the ingredients locally.

You can also make kimchi ramen, kimchi jjigae, kimchi udon, and more. There are also many types of kimchi you should try such as cucumber kimchi, bark kimchi, dongchimi, pa kimchi, and more

I also like the veggie or green onion pancakes. You can also add some very small shrimp or other seafood. And I hope you looked up the recipe for the Korean dip sauce usually served with these or Yaki Madu. It’s great. Korean food is on of favorites top tier! ❤

Do korean bidimbap (use cream cheese or pork it needs a specific type of rice used for bidimbap) its 10/10 for me its so good it will blow you away!
