I really love that danny has already been reading to his baby. my parents started reading to me when my mom was still pregnant with me. I turn 18 in less than two weeks, and my dad reading to me is still a huge comfort for me and can put me to sleep in like 20 minutes. I feel like a lot of people don’t start reading to their kids until theyre toddlers, but toddlers who haven’t been read to usually don’t have the patience to sit and listen. it’s just such a nice thing to start reading to your baby right away
@erinaa94864 ай бұрын
Really they don't start right away? Pediatricians remind parents to start right away
@montanarose46224 ай бұрын
As someone who has had a baby, pregnant women get SO much advice to read to their babies (even when they’re still in the womb). Every public library I’m my state has baby areas where parents are encouraged to sit and read with their kids of any age. It’s definitely common practice 😊
@katedole32694 ай бұрын
I've been reading to both my babies (one is still chillin in the womb lol) essentially since I found out I was pregnant, both for their development and to keep me in the habit lol
@hideakisorachi39534 ай бұрын
exactly!! and from the very second you start reading to your baby (after they're born of course lmao), the child begins to associate sounds/words to pictures way before they gain the ability to read. It also just helps expand their vocabulary as books will often use many words in succession that wouldn't come up as much in everyday conversation. I wish more parents did this.

@aarondavis8943 it's difficult I think. I follow Jonna Jinton and she's mostly on KZbin but she recently complained that there's a HUGE Tiktok account stealing her content and it went viral too. She tried to do something (and she's not small, at least not on KZbin). She got really frustrated, only when she reached out to another KZbin with a bigger Tiktok following, who got her in touch with someone at Tiktok something changed. Jonna got verified and they finally took the copycat down. I also think her fans reported the account after her video so that probably helped but just that there is this insane theft industry shows that they maybe don't really care.

13:42 Filo here, just to add context to this. It's a sad reality in our culture that we crave to be acknowledged by other cultures (most especially by western culture). This is also why whenever someone famous or if someone who has even 1% Filipino heritage goes viral or become famous you'll see comments such as "Pinoy pride 🇵🇭" or the likes. This is also the reason why there's a number of non-Filipino KZbinrs who would constantly post reacting to anything related to Filipino culture because they know it will do well because when we see anything even if it's just the bare minimum appreciation (even if it's not genuine) for our culture we put those people on a pedestal (especially if they are white). This is also why the beauty standard in our country is very much Eurocentric (e.g. fair skin, high-bridged nose etc).

Thanks for shedding some light on this subject for anyone who remains blissfully unaware of how bad things have gotten! How long are we going to ignore the ACTUAL plummeting value of money? It isn't representative of the amount of physical work done anymore, or the observed effect, so it must be representative of the effect achieved over time... luckily for anyone making money that way, you're spared the full knowledge of your own effect because you can never see the end of it, and all the money you earn feels "too good to be true". If you have no concrete knowledge of the effect of your own work, because it's invisible to you and always in motion, you don't have enough information to know what you are worth. Even if you have a lot of money, well, as demonstrated in the video, even money's worth can be easily debated now. Its worth is, like EVERYTHING else known to physics, relative. It doesn't have a constant worth because literally any amount of work could've been done to acquire it, depending on the person who holds it. So what does it even mean anymore? I guess it'll mean as much as its next transfer: $10 could be 10 stocking stuffers from the dollar store for your 3 year old, a couple of knick knacks from Five Below plus tax, the first meal your family has had together in weeks, or the first meal your family has eaten today. The amount of work done for that $10 could have been anything, even a kid's learned lesson to charge more money before mowing her neighbor's lawn in the sweltering heat. Money's not worthless, THAT'S what allows for confusion, and then it must be worth only what happens in the transfer of it from one person to another. As those people define the work and effect achieved, they define what the money is worth. Cut out the middle man, and then whatever happens between people without the function of money has knowable and observable worth, and people can hopefully start to understand with more certainty what they're made of and what they're worth. Perhaps there's a new definition of "work" to be supported by us, and maybe just some awareness of code's definition of work and the "nature" of async function declaration and promise chains could help us see more clearly how the world ~works~ now.

So happy so many of my fav creators are talking about content theft/plagarism- hbomberguy, jacksfilms, and now danny. Hope real change can come of it but we need the content host institutions to step up!

Be careful, one time i met Danny, and while he may seen charming and irresistible with his little wrists, he is NOT what he seems. At first i just said hey yo, dan. How is your day going? He said fine my young gentleman, and at this point, i really thought the meeting was young well. But at that very moment i realized that Danny wasn't a normal sized influencer after all, he was a tricksy little guru who measured at least 17 cubits in length alone. I barely escaped with my life, not to mention the other ones he took from me. Try to stay clear of Danny if you can. Not safe

My brother realized in 6th grade he could make really good muffins and that kids would buy them. So he’d make a bunch of muffins over the weekend with my mom and sell them for like a $1 and he nearly got suspended. He coulda been a true muffin guru man. It was actually pretty traumatizing for him he still gets genuinely angry when i call him the muffin man and he’s nearly 40.

In my experience, kids doing business is fine in our place (Philippines). I don't know about other countries though.

At my school I think they said because it was technically competition with the lunch room and also the person selling food doesn't have a license to sell food amd it wasn't approved by the school board.

So funny you mentioned The Sneetches! I currently have an untold amount of stars upon my own belly, after my 5 year old chased me down last night and assaulted me with her star stamper. That book takes up a good amount of space in my head, rent free, for whatever reason.

It's crazy how much plagiarism is drilled into our brains in school and people still somehow go on to not only make a living stealing other people's content (oftentimes more money than the people they are stealing from), but go even further to claim that it's ethical
