Great workout , very targeted and appropriate. I’m a 6’4” athlete and I have always been interested in trying yoga to help my body feel light and function effortlessly,, after doing few of these workouts , I can already feel improvements in my mobility . 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👍🏿👊🏾

Have been following your workouts for over 2 years now, started with 7 day beginners course I incorporate them with other exercises. I've always been active & pretty fit, now at 72 I'm fitter & stronger than before, what's more I've not needed my sports physio/osteopath since which I used to need on a fairly regular basis due to an imbalance caused by years of humping bags of chicken feed & boxes of eggs around. Great stuff Dean, love your clear & sympathetic style.

I've never been particularly muscular, the difference your programmes have made is in my core strength which is vastly improved & has led to an increased level of fitness. I like how you brake everything down. I have a question, the last exercise with the figure 4, I can do that really easily, is there something harder I can do for that? I am very flexible.

Glad you're enjoying our content so much! Instead of the reclined figure four, do pigeon pose. It's the more advanced version of that posture. You can find steps on how to do it by searching in our channel :)

I used to have torn hamstring. I did fix it with physical therapy but now I can feel that my fixed leg is stronger. When I run my hip in (not injured leg) start to hurt. I do a lot of cardio and weights as well. I recently started having problems with my lower back...it started after I was doing back extensions. I really dont want to tear anything else because it's extremely painful. I do stretch and warm up before and after my workouts. But at this point I'm just lost with what should I do ...my hamstrings are always so tight no matter how much i stretch. I use foam roller too. Any suggestions for what can I do ? I've been focusing on getting more flexible too. My main goal is to build muscle and I really enjoy lifting weights. What could I do to avoid feeling like my muscles are about to snap after workout? I really don't lift heavy at all so I don't understand what am I doing wrong.

Your hamstrings aren't tight - they're weak. You need to do hamstring strengthening, not stretching. I would actually avoid stretching your hamstrings entirely until you feel that pain go away.

Great! Will be doing this in my workout today. BTW, Is it a bad idea to do yoga exercises in sneakers? Is that considered “cheating”?

It's not "bad" to do yoga exercises, and it certainly doesn't make it cheating. It is better to do yoga barefoot, but if you need the extra ankle support because you lack intrinsic strength in your feet and need them to have proper technique in your ankles - or - you're doing yoga in a parking lot with broken glass - then you should can shoes.
