This is very good! The increase in debts relative to future income ( many people worry about their debts)……and the fake connection of technology can never compete with the connection of group activity/problem solving

As much as I appreciate Delony being here, especially when it comes to friends and addressing trauma (to the T, trust me, you need to), I strongly disagree with the religion part, as an ex-Muslim. Nothing has ever ruined my life like Islam, and I was in there for 6 years, 2016-22. Not only did it cause additional trauma otherwise never possible, it also made me lose life-long friends that I haven't been quite able to reconnect with, as I got caught up with people I had no business dealing with. It hurt me worse than anything; Covid, screens, whatever. And the Muslim community refuses to take any responsibility for the bullshit they pull, always blaming the West for their problems. Do NOT come to Islam my friends. Christianity is better but could also be detrimental, but that ain't my expertise. And as for "my truth", it doesn't have to be narcissism or entitlement. It could simply be the trauma that made you lose your sense of self to begin with, usually but not necessarily in childhood. At least that's what I've come to.

Alright it's a bit much to tell the internet over and over they are going to die young if they don't find their tribe and cmon it's not true either. Lot's of people live peaceful lives of solitude and compassion and live long. I get the point of how important community, friends and family are but that was a bit much and it was said in a way that is not scientifically accurate. I also think the I did complex trauma therapy and now my daughter hugs me was a bit much too.
