I divorced my ex husband the moment he changed his mind about wanting kids. I am not about to sacrifice my body or livelihood for any man in that way. Millions of women get left to be single mothers by men who say they want kids, so no way was I chancing it. As a black woman, the odds would not have been in my favor. The divorce took less than 5 months and my intuition was spot on. He got a woman pregnant (didn't marry her) and left her to be a single mom when the baby girl was not even 4 months old. So glad I stuck to my conviction about being childfree.

Wishy washy people are sure regret their decision, even If they aren't the ones doing lionshare. If they have minimum social consequences for abandoning their family too, there's no way someone who is short-term validation seeker will tough it out.

@@awg7068 I understand your viewpoint. However, unforgiveness carries with it the element of holding on to the hurt and injustice, which keeps you shackled to the pain, which isn't fair to you. Moreover, ignoring someone's existence is merely a coping mechanism which doesn't destroy the pain at its root...it only anestheticizes it. This is where unilateral forgiveness comes into play. It is the ability to release yourself completely (through the blood of Jesus as sufficient payment of all sin-debt) from people who've hurt you but lack the self awareness, introspection, and empathy to realize or admit their wrongs. It is what Jesus did on the cross for our sins, and although it is difficult, I pray and hope that some day you'll be able to do that and truly heal. God bless you. ❤️🙏🏾

I left when my ex who was a father of 2(I have no children, but helped raised his youngest child that he was abandoned with) decided that when I was getting my master’s degree and needed 4 months to focus that he would pick up an extra job. Mind y’all , our bills were not even $1100/month back then and I bought the food, paid cell, and car insurance. Anyways , I did all of the cooking , cleaning , child rearing , etc and I simply asked him to make sure that he picks up his plate and put it into the sink to be washed …. He said “ I work two jobs , I shouldn’t have to pick up my plate “. I saw red , but calmly said “Okay” , and moved out 2 weeks later into my own spot on campus. Never looked back and never dated destitute entitled men again.

Yeah he should actually because he's an adult if you work two jobs you should know how to wash your own plate by now people that work two jobs are stupid anyways it's actually harder to get ahead like that with two jobs because sometimes one of the companies will pull you off the schedule if they think there over working you. In some situations your money actually goes down not up if the hours are not guaranteed. Of course I don't expect men to understand what it's like to be ripped off like that because people just hand them hours and half the time when there at work they will slack off if they know there's more women picking up after them at work too. Not all of them work construction or heavy labored jobs some of them make coffee, flip burgers, empty trash and ring up groceries for a living and they want the royal treatment for stuff women have been doing sense the dawn of time.

I would've been her if I would've let him stalk me back into that rship. Kinda glad I ditched and chose myself and my kid. I watch him every time he uses her and my daughter against me. It is truly sickening as a mother to watch. They're 6 years into the rship...he quoted marriage and called her his fiance only in court for views. No ring on the finger and no wedding date set. Going to counseling with someone who cheated on you long term, NEVER WORKS. Why do I have to do work to rebuild trust that you broke! When I find out that you lied to my face repeatedly, and if you gaslight me? IT IS OVER!!!! NO CHANCE OF RECONCILIATION.
@Childfree334
@Childfree334 11 ай бұрын
I never understood that either. Cheaters are always in the wrong. If you can't talk to your mate about relationship issues, then end the relationship/marriage. Problems are not solved by cheating, then gaslighting the other person into "counseling" when you know you are wrong wreaks of narcissism.

@martymcfly5764

Exactly. It's not even the $ex that's the worst part about cheating imo. To me it's the sneaking around and lying. The fact that you can be watching a movie or having dinner or even snuggling in bed with someone and they can be making plans or sexting with someone while they are only inches away from you. It happened to me, so I know what it feels like. A few years back I was in a relationship with a hobosexual from out of state who literally came here with nothing. No family, no friends, no money, no car, no place to live. NOTHING. I took him in and was an amazing friend and eventually partner to him. This man would look into my eyes and tell me that I was his best friend, the only real friend he ever had, his soul mate, his future wife and his everything. and that he couldn't imagine his life without me. A few months after he moved in, I caught him in several lies, and then one night I walked in on him video chatting with a girl who was at least ten years younger than him. The conversation was sexual in nature. I confronted him and he foolishly decided to take his audacity a step further and mouth off to me and disrespect me. And I lost it. I won't tell you what I did, but let's put it this way: I could have ended up in prison for it if things had gone any further. Luckily I showed restraint and stopped myself before it was too late. But it was a real close call, and let's just leave it at that. The worst part is that I looked in his phone and discovered that not only was this not the first time, but that it had been going on the entire time I had known him. I was devastated. Just the fact that someone could treat me like that after everything I had done for them and all the love, support and friendship I had shown them was heartbreaking. But also infuriating. Because how fking dare you. I even developed PTSD from the relationship because he had begun to change and subjected me to a lot of narcissistic abuse. It's been over five years and I still haven't been able to forgive myself or let go of my anger. The depression and rage I experience due to all the guilt, shame and regret is inexplicable. I just started therapy because I realize that I am stuck in the past and I need help so that I can move on and leave this all behind me. It will be hard though because I still can't believe that I ever allowed someone to treat me so badly. I am completely disgusted with myself.

I was hospitalized with my esophagus being ruptured, it was a nightmare, my first time ever in the hospital, i was very scared, exhausted, crying, i wasn't allowed to even drink water for several days, and when my ex showed up and i leaned to him asking him to hug me he put his hand on my shoulder. Like I'm his buddy or something. After 7 years of being together he PUT HIS HAND ON MY SHOULDER! This was the moment when i realized that he doesn't care about me and doesn't have any empathy for me. @@azureavocado5195 I just saw that video yesterday! It is a great video and I highly suggest it to anyone who has not seen it (no matter your gender identity!) Since this moment of clarity I’ve been learning all about how unresolved cptsd from my childhood (I discovered the Ace survey and I scored a 4 meaning I was primed for all the medical problems I’m having now in childhood) then being involved with a king baby psychopath gave me additional trauma, then 2 long term relationships with “nice guys” who stressed my traumatized system into deeper levels of illness. I’m learning about how trauma is stored physically in the body. I’m working with a physical therapist to calm the most painful areas of the body and I’m doing somatic exercises to try to dispel some of my physically stored trauma. Right now women are in a moment of awakening globally. We are learning to reject toxicity, and do what we need to be healthy, happy, and whole, on our own. And with our pups, obviously.

We see the red flags from the beginning but we choose to stay in dysfunctional relationships due to our own emotional dysfunction. It’s rare when people are extremely good at pretending in the beginning and go undetected for a long time. Those folks are rare, cuz most people give you glimpses of who they really are in the beginning, but we still choose to proceed with the foolish delulu. I’m guilty as charged for doing this in the past when I was emotionally dysregulated due to past trauma. Plus, nearly all my time was spent with him! That was why I asked him, "who do you think I'm cheating with?" Apparently, I found out later, he thought I was fooling around with the one neighbor I visit weekly. Her and I are both straight. And have both said we would never do anything like that together. When I was with my ex husband, I discovered that he was cheating on my with another woman. I had actually left him, but ended up going back to him. During that time, I became pregnant with our 3rd child. When I got pregnant with this one, I figured, “why not? This is my husband,” even though I really didn’t want a third. Midway through my pregnancy, I overheard my ex telling someone that he impregnated me on purpose so that I wouldn’t leave him. But I STILL DIDN’T LEAVE. My “ah ha” moment was in the hospital while I was in labor. I was in a lot of pain and my water had broken, so the contractions were very intense. As I’m going through this, he’s sitting away from me watching sports highlights. I asked him to come next to me. He did. He squeezed my hand through ONE contraction and then went back to watching sports until I was taken back to the OR. I sat there in pain and he ignored as if me being in labor was just background noise.

I don't trust the guy you included in this video at all. His partner sounds like she's fed up of his weaponized incompetence to the point that she's distrustful of any "help" he does because she knows its ultimately creating work for her when he does it badly (and then he probably wants to be praised for that too), either that or at the very least she had boundaries around her living situation that she has made him aware of and he is just crossing regardless. Was also pretty sus the way he said 'I had the house cleaned' and then corrected it on screen, sounded like he got someone else to clean it... idk, something's off with this guy's story.

So she went to the doctor and the doctor told her that she fainted because she’s going through extreme stress. And she realized that the stress was her relationship, so she left it.

I if that type of behaviour is common throughout the relationship I can totally understand wanting to leave. Listening to the woman that had the c-section is disgusting. I was watching a video about men dealing with side chicks and this is the type of stuff that they pull. They like their side chicks because they can be a victim and the women will treat them like they’re just this amazing guy that is trying hard but just can’t catch a break. He’s just this good person that is dealing with a woman that just takes him for granted and uses her but in reality, he’s full of it and just using sympathy to get her to treat him even better. In reality, he’s probably neglecting his wife/girlfriend AND is manipulating the side chick to treat him good with the hopes that he sees how good she treats him to leave the other woman. In reality, he’s just playing both of them (probably has another woman/women), and will continue to use his wife/girlfriend for what she does for him while leading the side chick on because he will never leave the wife/girlfriend for her. They’re just serving themselves and don’t care about anyone else but themselves.

And that was a red flag to her because what’s the standard for “annoying”? So she’d be in constant fear of doing anything that he might perceive as an annoyance and then he’d beat her up.
