This is basically my diet but with juice, a croissant another sugared cup of coffee, a sandwich, potato chips, a mid-afternoon snack (usually chocolate or half a packet biscuits) and then meat in a rich sauce with a side of either potatoes, pasta or rice (sometimes two portions if I cooked too much) followed by another chocolate desert and an entire bottle of wine.

People often say, “I’m not hurting anyone so it’s ok to sin (lying, stealing, sexual sins, disrespecting parents etc)” The same God who said to love your neighbour first said to love Him to the best of your ability. If you carry on sinning, then you do not love God but are selfish like the devil so you will be joined to your father in hell or repent of your sins and believe in Jesus as God so Jesus adopts you as His child and you will join Him in Heaven forever.

This is spot on. This is exactly what I have been doing for the past 3 years and would have to say I feel great. This type of fasting combined with keto is a great way to go. My family has had a hiatory of high blood pressure and diabetes. I used to have high blood pressure too. Now my bp is 112/60 pulse around 60. And on top of all every bite feels delicious as he said. For the people who have hunger or cravings know that this will just go away in time and you will feel great. The body does not need as much food as we are used to or as often. It needs quality nutrition. Quit the sugar too. If it ia too hard just have a nice teaspoon of organic honey but inly when you really need it. This will pass too. Exercise minimum 2 times a week. Just try and e consistent about it without setting high goals.

Suppose Jesus DID NOT DIE on the Cross and rise from the dead. What would this mean for humans? It would mean absolutely no one would go to Heaven, why? Because God is Holy & will not coexist forever with sinners. Are you a sinner? have you ever lied, stolen anything, spoken abusively to or about someone, Swore, Blasphemed God’s Holy name, lusted after the opposite sex, had premarital sex, cheated, hated someone…? So all humans will be condemned to hell for their sins. But thank God out of His overflowing love, sent Jesus to die on the Cross and rise from the dead. Now we can get into Heaven by Repenting (stop doing is sinful and start being Holy-James 4:7) & Belief in Jesus as your Lord & Saviour. @@linghe1298 you're having difficulty with carbs because your body is addicted to the unhealthy sugars that are derived from them. like any drug, you are simply going through the withdrawal process. my suggestion is to cut out unhealthy carbs such as soda, fruit juice, pasta, noodles, bread, desserts and candy. 1 cup of white rice per day with a good quality protein (10-12 ounces) is a great pairing. If you are craving something sweet, eat an apple, a handful of grapes, or any fruit high in fiber and low on the glycemic scale. More importantly, avoid seed oils like soybean oil, canola oil, safflower, cottonseed, and other inflammatory oils. Instead substitute them for Extra Virgin olive oil, Avocado oil, or Coconut oil. These oils are healthy fats that will not harm your body.

Then, I make a Grass Fed Ribeye Steak and Organic Vegetable Medley right after I've had my "breakfast". I do this during my workdays and my days off I do 2MAD instead of OMAD. I've lost 30 pounds so far (from 173 to 143).

How is God good? Good is defined as moral perfection so only God qualifies to be good. However, Some people think they are good. Have you lied (even once in your entire life), looked with lust at the opposite sex, dishonoured parents, stolen anything, had hatred towards someone, Taken the Lords name in vain, had premarital sex, adultery etc If you answered yes to any one of the above then you are a sinner like the rest of us. Since all humans have broken the law, all humans will be punished in Hell for breaking the law. But God doesn’t want humans to perish so He sent Jesus to take the punishment that you deserve. So, either receive the mercy & love of God by repenting of sin (forsake sinful ways) & Believe in Jesus as God or pay for your own sins in Hell.

My ONLY son who's 31 was getting married on July 17th and I wanted to lose as much weight as i could in 2 months. I lost 22 lbs in 2 months by following my own program. AFTER WEDDING "Kept SAME Routine" ( 1) Morning 1- 12 oz coffeee NO breakfast no snacks and drink at least 1- 16oz bottle of water, ( 2) eat light healthy lunch at 11 am drink 2 - 16 oz of water (3) after lunch No snacks of ANY kind and 2-3 16oz water (4) share healthy dinner with wife at 5 pm -5:15 Pm NO LATER (5) after dinner I drink 3-4 16oz. bottles of water until I go to bed at 10 pm +/- I did this same regimented routine after the wedding until today. I lost 45 lbs in 4 months. I went from 209 lbs to 164 lbs,and I can do 70 pushups on command without any problem. I've cleansed my mind and body of all the impurities that had me mentally and physically sluggish. I intend to keep this routine for the rest of my life. Most people are not disciplined enough to do this, but it was worth all the sacrifice It took to get me where I'm at today. Keep keeping on Mark !!!

I have been lifting weights for 7 years now and the last few years my natural testosterone is much stronger than since my 20s if sex drive is an indicator. Lately I increased weight and reps, am deliberately eating more in general with more carbs like organic whole grain toast and potatoes with my post workout meals and have been packing muscle on, much better composition than I have ever had, the belly fat is minimal. I skip the carbs on non workout days. It's clear to me now that 2 meager meals a day was not enough to gain muscle or support heavy workouts. By eating more I was quickly able to increase weight and reps and really intensify workouts. We are RVing in Moab and mountain biking some intense trails every week, additional energy required!

He consumed nothing that would raise insulin. No sugar, and very little carbs, only a little coming from the veggies, which also had fiber though. It would be great. His diet is Paleo/maybe leaning to keto at times. Both would be great for you to reverse diabetes and if you are insulin resistant, (good chance you are) would reverse that as well. Keto would be best and once you reversed diabetes and were at a weight you are comfortable with, and can do a maintenance diet, you could then do a keto/paleo diet. Paleo is not as strict as Keto and the have some sugar and carbs, but at that point, in moderation, would be ok.

You might need to add some more carbs depending on your goals. Mark did not arrive at this way of eating overnight. He sort of stair stepped his way over many years. I think it is important to point out that while Mark lives an active lifestyle (paddling, fat biking, walking) his only high intensity activity tends to be a weekly ultimate frisbee game. Because of the low frequency of this activity, he doesn't need to quickly replenish glycogen day to day and thus doesn't need to eat much in the way of carbs.

I think you will end up self regulating. If you cut the carbs too low you will feel very run down. The hard bit is adding back in enough, but not too many carbs and at the right time to stay metabolically flexible. It's always going to be trial and error and the only person who will ever know how many carbs to eat to be successful is you. It's worth it because once you gain that knowledge you will never forget 👍

So when you see an ad of a burger or whatever, immediately replace it in your mind with a very obese person because that is what it really is. After some practice, their ads have the opposite effect on your mind. You will just see obese people when you see an ad and think to yourself ,"I don't need any of that".. Thanks for sharing this vid! Some thoughts: skipping breakfast but still adding cream to coffee is NOT real fasting. More over, simply skipping breakfast is not fasting. I do the very same by the way, since 6 months, and I was calling it intermittent fasting but I learned that it actually isn't. Or, maybe we can call it semi-fasting, at best. But it is a good thing to do. Fasting would be not eating for the major part of your active day, per se, and only keeping up an eating time window for the very end of the day when recovery starts. Of course, it also comes down to when you get up and active - e.g.: I get up at 5:15 am, drink about half a liter water (right now I add beta alanine and creatine to it, no flavorings, no sweetener), then I prepare the breakfast and lunchboxes for my kids, then I do a compact 25 min bodyweight/kettlebell workout at about 5:45 am. Later on at 6:45 am I ride my bike for 4 km to the train - so I get pretty active way before 8:00am, and would only eat at 12:30 pm. And yes, I drink coffee in the morning, with nothing but coffee, no sweetener, no cream, nada. So I have my lunch at 12:30 pm, and I then I eat once more at about 6:30 pm (just after I arrived home after my bike ride of 4 km with about 110 m height gain on the last 1 km), and that's it. So I am not eating between 7:00 pm to 12:30 am next day, literally only consuming water and caffeine (+beta alanine/creatine nowadays) in between, and I am active in this period as well between 5:45 am and 8:00 am.

You are so correct. I've ate this way for a long time but also switch to 95% vegetable and that include complex carbs and I still shred and still eat in a 16:8 window. I firmly believe that periodizing your food keeps the body guessing and allows for it to get a well rounded spread of nutrients. I keep hearing it's about blood type but I am now changing my point of view after eating mostly vegetables and low protein for 7 months and still gaining the most muscle I've ever gained and still eating in an 8 hour window and not feeling like I need to eat, sometimes it's an even smaller window. Flexible metabolism is pretty badass when you are dedicated!

Yay! I'm already doing it right, then. I started a couple of weeks ago with a major grocery store run for mostly organic foods. Started cutting out bad carbs already due to concerns about gluten sensitivity (or just that I hate that bloated icky feeling afterward). I've rarely ever felt hungry enough in the AM for breakfast, so coffee is really the only thing I'm up for that early in the day. I eat some kind of protein for lunch with vegetables as a snack and repeat for supper. This leaves me with a 14-16-hour window of fasting, with hunger and cravings slowly but surely fading. Now, to get more water into myself and get that much-needed exercise started. Of course, I'll still need to read the Keto Reset library book I checked out so I can make sure I'm doing this properly. It's not just about weight loss for me, but about getting to a point in my middle age years where I feel healthy.

Stick close to grown products - none of my vegetarian and vegan friends and acquaintances show their age, and neither do I. A fifth plus 10 beers is approx 27 jiggers or 40.5 oz of 80 proof. This equates to 16.2 oz or 460 grams of pure ethanol per week. According to a team of international researchers quoted in an article on CNN health, "Drinking 200 to 350 grams per week was estimated to reduce life span by one to two years and drinking more than 350 grams per week by four to five years.". Like cravings for carbs, cravings for ethanol subside the longer you are clean. I have alcohol in my pantry which I've not touched in over a year. If one can manage to eat healthy, one can become an ex drinker too. Just having one or two to be social is BS. It's a slippery slope that grows back into daily double double night caps. I decided, along with cutting the carbs, to become an ex drinker. It makes a lot of sense for anyone concerned about their health. Just my $0.02.

Therefore, none of us are good and able to get into Heaven and will be justly judged and sent to eternity in Hell! But God out of His love sent his son Jesus (also God in Human flesh) to die on the cross for our sins and rise again from the dead (nobody can do that only God). Jesus said if you Repent of your sins and put your complete trust in Him for your salvation, you’ll have eternal life, given to you as a gift (this message is not to be ignored; seek God today). Your thoughts? John 14: 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Perhaps this has already been asked, but how exactly are you intermittent fasting when you use cream and sugar in your coffee?

Didn’t you break your fast when you consumed the heavy cream in your coffee, and not when you had lunch?

OK, but it's disingenuous to say that you are "fasting" for 16 hours since you had a few tablespoons of cream with your coffee. Your fast technically stopped at that time. Sorry. That being said I do love all of your Primal Kitchen products.

That may be true by a strict definition, but the point of fasting in this context is to have an extended period of stable blood sugar and insulin, which will not be disrupted by a small quantity of pure fat.

If it's a fast from significant carbs (do some research) then no he's not breaking it. The guy is an expert who's written books on the subject, try reading one before running your mouth.

Nice routine ! But i have to say, when you said "It is more habit than anything now", you made me smile. If you consume that quantity of coffe every morning, just try a few days without driniking any :D caffeine withdrawal is a real thing, but maybe you are one of the lucky fellas who won't suffer from it :D

Side note: Bacopa counter-acts caffeine. Also, l-theanine helps prevent jitters, enhances the cognitive effects of caffeine, induces calm/focus, and can help with caffeine tapering if one wants to wean off.

I usually eat some meat or fish, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, garlic, eggs, avocados, chia seeds with water, olive oil, salt, and maybe some walnuts. Then I fast for 16-20 hours. I drink rooibos if I want a hot drink, since I stopped using caffeine years ago.
