South Thailand is pretty popular with tourists though - phuket, krabi, and Phangnga. It’s just that most tourists don’t really get a chance to taste some of these local places. I would say east and northeast are the more underrated regions :)

I love how Ying is just as open to eating everything, as much as Mark is and how the two of them can finish a feast of such large portions. I would love to see more of her reactions. I can't remember which video, but it was where the meat was grilled in the sand, on vertical spits. Mark was changed into more suitable attire for the weather and the women dressed Ying so beautifully. Well, I loved how Mark's eyes popped out of his head when she spread her arms out for him to see how new look.
That kitchen set up looks so great! Happy chefs at work too! 😎

I'm so excited. These are the food of my childhood : the lato( little grape like seaweed salad, the kuhol ( sea snails), the bangus sinigang soup soured by tamarind (milkfish), shrimp paste and lots of garlic, the deep fried catfish and plain white rice.....And the salads always freshly made... very Asian. The omelet with aubergines is usually a breakfast dish.My parents loved siling labuyo with these but the latter, I had to wait until I grew up to try those peppers ( labuyo ). Thanks for the memories.
