Today is a very, very special Sunday for me. I can watch Martijn's video from home. Just spent 18 days in hospital and was finally discharged yesterday. I'd suffered a heavy concussion, broken ribs, right leg and arm broken in a car accident. I'm grateful I'm alive and can recuperate at home with my daughter looking after me. I feel I've been given a new lease on life and watching Martijn's video is like the icing on the cake. Thank you for letting so many people take part in your peaceful, alpine life.

Italian Alps change a lot from region to region. Martijn lives in Piedmont, north-west side of the Alps, near Monte Bianco and Cervino. I have been leaving in the north-east side, where Dolomites are. The two sides are separated by about 600-700 km. There is a lot in between, of continuously changing landscape and people!

Since I discovered your serene and tranquil videos, Martijn it’s my goto for my serenity to see how much you love this life you have built for yourself. The greenhouse and everything you lovingly built is a state of art.🙏🏼 One suggestion re your greenhouse planting, perhaps transplant some strawberries, chives and some of your other vegies from your vegie patch into your new greenhouse. As for improving your soil around your new fruit trees you can improve your compost by adding a little potash (ash but not too much) and charcoal (from your fire pit). This will inject great nutrient into your compost. All the best and thank you for sharing such an iconic journey with us🙏🏼💙x.

Knowing the odds of that being minimal, i was sitting there with a perfect blend of emotions, trying to gather some composure, then the music started. We love the explosion of green leaves and wildflowers! Loved seeing the villa della Regina and the music. Our son and his friend after college, rode bikes for from upper New York to San Diego to raise money for make a wish. He hasn't ridden it since. Seeing you ride makes me think he should go riding again.
