I think how they left the end of Vol 2 with Gamora and Peter, even though they didn't kiss, I believe they did start their relationship. Peter talks about the "unspoken thing" between them throughout the film and his feelings were confirmed by Mantis is that scene on the ship. Gamora kept denying it, and didn't let Mantis touch her, but her line at the end during Yondu's funeral when she's looking all sweetly at Peter and he says "what?" and she goes "it's just... some unspoken thing" That was her admitting her feelings for Peter, admitting she returns the feelings he has for her. Then their sort of embrace/stance at the end is the start of their relationship. WOW that was way longer than I meant it to be oops, I just love Peter and Gamora so much, as well as the gotg franchise

Stan Lee talking to those aliens (The Watchers) was a nice nod to the popular fan theory that Stan was always playing the same character in the Marvel films where he had a cameo: Uatu the Watcher. Since Uatu is an immortal, all knowing, psychic alien capable of appearing as anyone that has a penchant for bearing silent witness to critical events in the Marvel Multiverse, it perfectly matched the pattern for all of Stan's cameos.

The team Stalone's character assembles at the end is I believe an earlier comic book version of the Guardians of the Galaxy. If you listen, Stan Lee mentions his appearances in other movies. This canonizes the fan theory that Stan is one of the Watchers, aliens that passively observe things, so Stan has been in disguise in the various movies, watching things happen.

No spoilers, but some info: Ego is known in the comics as Ego: The Living Planet, meaning he's an actual planet that lives ;P Adam is the character Adam Warlock, a powerful cosmic being and he had a big role in the comic story Infinity Gauntlet (in which the setting of Infinity War and Endgame is based on). Zune is Microsoft's answer to Apple's Ipod, that one was pretty much a failure, it wasn't well known as the Ipod and Zune could only have over 300 songs while Ipod could have over a million songs on it (maybe not million, but much more than what Zune could).

I remember seeing this in theaters with my friends in college the night it premiered and it was one of the most memorable theater experiences. The whole theater was either laughing or gasping or (in a few cases) crying. Glad you loved this movie too :)

My first mp3 player in like.. '06, maybe? Was a Zune, and I was really happy, practically pretentiously happy I wasn't getting the ginormously popular iPod. I still think my old Zune was more of an intuitive design than the iPod, but maybe I'm biased.

This movie is very important to me, because besides being in my top 4 of my favorite MCU films, I had the pleasure of meeting an animator who worked on the CGI of this film. I was in cinema college here in Brazil and he went to my campus to give a lecture, and see how someone who also graduated in cinema here in Brazil, managed to work on a film of this scale, inspired me deeply. Love your reactions, Mary ❤️

The tall aliens that Stan Lee was talking to are called Watchers. They are God-like beings that observe and record all things but never interfere. It is a long held fan theory that Stan Lee was secretly a Watcher since he’s in ever movie. This scene was a nod to that rumor.

This is my favorite MCU movie and the reason because I liked the symbolism of Ego being his father and for the Guardians of the Galaxy to be a family they had to kill their ego figuratively and literally... Ego is actually a living planet in Marvel comicbooks, which I didn't know how they would portray him on film and it was great how they did it. This movie is the only one I can watch over and over. I've seen all these MCU movies at the theater and every cent was worth it.

In the comics, Adam Warlock is neither hero nor villain - he's an arrogant jerk, but he mostly just hangs out with equally godlike people. Whenever he gets involved with "lesser" beings, he's a bit of an arrogant SOB.
