Responding to when you guys were discussing what was needed for classic plus: Defcamp was saying dont change the classes just the itemization. Guys...we did no changes, then we did SOM with no changes...you have to let go lol Running 13 warrs doing triple the dmg of everything else was dumb the first time. Changes can be fun! Roll with the punches! And if you dont like it there is still classic era with no changes waiting for ya

I can remember when he and al were whining about dual spec. Claiming that the money sink was part of the development and it would ruin the economy. Hes at least flipped on that. Half of the reason they dont want changes is because they dont want to offend another streamer. Lol. They have to hint around stuff and when the overall consensus is ok for simething then they all switch at the same time. Defcamp always goes with what others think, he rarely has or at least says his own thought out opinions. Usually he runs something by melderon and then repeats it as his own idea. Js. It works for them.

I wonder how many of the classes/specs you could fix with itemization? I mean warriors are doing 215% of shaman damage in Naxx. That would be a lot of power to put into tier set bonuses if you aren't also making some changes to the classes themselves. Priests, paladins, and balance are all at similar deficits.

I use to be worried about GDKPs hurting classic but feel they have evolved into guilds which use a particular loot system. I'm on Grob and take part in 2 different GDKP servers. In one the raids are 95% guild alts/friends and family toons. The second server has a bit more flex but it's still 15-18 core players who come week after week, most to more than one raid.

Agreed. I used to think gdkps were a little shady until i tried one. Then it was like a light went on in my brain and i realized just how almost perfect they are. U can actually earn by playing the game instead of relying on luck. Every piece of gear is interesting to you also because u get a part of it either the gear or the sell price. Unfortunately it can be used by cheaters. But if they coukd ever stop the cheaters it would be perfect.

Barbershop, duelspec, and ability to lock items, should be baseline imo. Then id like to see metzen guided (+ other OG's if thed be willing to) release of unfinished 2004 content and MAYBE with that add incription or JC but thats not as important as the "new" content could address better itemization. Hopefully with that also find a way to tone down warrior dps to fit better in line with other classes. Oh and pvp queing from UI and id be super happy 😄

One class would always end up as the best class for dueling. That is why they have never done rated dueling. Even though we wouldnt care. And yeah fk the horde. Phase 2, never forget!

The take of wrath talents in classic+ sounds nice but imo it needs to die. Convenience and homogenization is all that comes to mind. Ret isn't played in classic to have a full rotation of abilities so why complicate the class... Classic players want simple and easy rotation.

I hear the sentiment of wanting another class I say go monk. Make a very simplified version of the mop talents. Stagger as a tanking mechanic would be very interesting and barely needs much buttons to consider it game play just a brew to reduce stagger. It would fill that hole classic has that they talked about a few weeks ago in tanking.

You will never get realms with Blizzard using any extra anti-BOT measures and you will never get realms with no GDKPs. This is a dumb conversation that has been had at nauseum in this community. Honestly tired of this debate at this point...it is NEVER happening. The HC realms releasing all raid content at once doesn't really hurt anything as you are forced into the natural progression of the raids through fear of losing your character. People are not going to be skipping into AQ40 in dungeon blues.
