You are one of the few love coaches that give great workable advice that doesn't sound like fluff that women want to hear.

Gay guy here... met a guy still in the closet... We're both masculine. ;-) Not the stereotypes... This, and more particular past videos, apply to people like us as well. Cheers

Great video, A month ago, my five-year relationship came to an end. I really can't stop thinking about the love of my life, who made the decision to leave me. I've done everything in my power to win him back, but it's all in vain, and I can't imagine my life with anyone else. I genuinely miss him and just can't stop thinking about him, even though I've tried my hardest to stop thinking about him. I'm not sure why I'm saying this here.

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe there is something in Matt's suggestions that will open him up to you again. Have you asked him why he left? What he wasn't happy with?

Pretty sure you posted this exact comment on another video of mat’s. Is this a bot?

My man likes quality time and physical touch, so one way I can combine those is through cuddling while watching a favorite show together. Cuddling is one activity I know he will pretty much always want and he often opens up emotionally during those times

I have noticed my boyfriend being off and the dopamine time makes so much sense! This is my favorite video I’ve watched from you and I’ve been watching you for over 10 years! It’s like the video was met for me at this time. ❤

From my experience, giving will backfire if the person is an avoidant.

He's a genius, and as such, he has some communication difficulties. The only fear he currently has to do with that. He's afraid that if we start a romantic relationship, he might say or do something that would upset me. That would lead to his losing me. What I haven't told him was his telling me about that fear, just made him even more attractive to me. (The timing just has been right for now.) The fact that he cares that much about not hurting me. Makes me feel that he's worth waiting for. Also, if he does hurt me at some stage, I'll know that he probably didn't mean to. Give a few minutes to calm, and I'll talk about it. If I do get upset. My grandma was incredibly intuitive about people, and I inherited that from her. I love people, and they just seem to open up to me. Including Robert, the man I'm talking about. We feel comfortable talking about pretty much anything, including our fears and emotions. We also respect each other's differences. Just one last comment.

Sometimes I think this channel doesn't have their target audience very clear. Most of the advice is meant for couples in long term relationships.
