Hi there, appreciate your videos. Do you happen to know, if I purchase a drum pack (such as Cookin Soul's Lo Bap Bundle Kit), how do I load this onto my MPC Live 2? And which file type should I download it as (MP3, ALAC, FLAC, WAV)? Thanks, Max
@BlaccSymphanyBeats7773 ай бұрын
Do you know if it's possible to turn off sustaining loop before saving a program? Each chop is saving as a loop and not one shots. So when I open the chops in a say soundforge, the chops are playing as loops and shows a sustained loop marker. If I open the chops up in mpc 2000xl , when a pad is pressed and held it plays as a loop. I would like to chop in mpc software and load the chops into mpc 2000xl, so they play as one-shots. The loop can be turned off in mpc 2000, but that's manually and it has to be done for each chop, which is time consuming .

if i have a drum kit from Maschine.. thats already assembled with the samples i want to use.. can that be imported.. loaded up in MPC Live.. & if so.. can you explain how.. thanks in advance
@MatthewStratton4 жыл бұрын
Hello, the kits that are designed for Maschine work with Maschine. You cannot load them into the MPC. However, you can load the samples from Maschine into the MPC individually by finding where they are installed on your hard drive and loading them into the MPC. Then, you can create kits out of the samples.
@djnes2k74 жыл бұрын
There’s a program I recently found for 30$ called kit-maker that does exactly that. It also lets you make your own kits
@MatthewStratton4 жыл бұрын
@@djnes2k7 yes. It just surfaced not to long ago and it is in early bird pricing. I actually have it too and I'm going to transfer some maschine kits over for my MPC. Thanks for sharing 👍

I figured out how to sample edit chop etc I figured out how to sample edit and chop etc. I’m trying to figure out if I’m just sitting around the house playing records grabbing samples where is that folder location not so much assigned it to a program to start doing something production wise see if I’m just chilling around the house and I’m just listening to old records and I just wanna grab a sample and keep moving forward grab a sample I can’t figure out where to save that in on if you can do a video pretty much just like you just sitting around the house on a Saturday morning listening to some old vinyl and you just grabbing samples back after bed grabbing samples and you say OK now I grab these 15 samples I need to put them in a folder on this MPC software so I can come back later

Sorry about that pretty much on the MPC software you have a little record icon at the top once you grab a sample yada yada yada boom how do you create a folder to pretty much have multiple samples sit in on your computer for future reference far as actually using those samples in the song production wise item can sample by only time I can sample is pretty much I gotta save it to a program and actually start creating something I just wanna sit around sometime and just grab samples and create a folder on a Saturday and maybe come back to them that following Tuesday and then work on some of those samples

I'm complete on a brain freeze. I've been away from my MPC One for 3 months and I'm having trouble importing a wav file sample from my SD Card or Ext Hard Drive. Help Me Please???
@MatthewStratton4 жыл бұрын
When you plug your sd card go to your browser and select places. you should see your sd card in the list. select your sd card and your fold with the sample and select the sample and press in the data dial. It loads the sample. if you have a pad selected it will place it on that pad, if not it just goes into the sample pool and you can assign it manually.

Thanks. SD card! I'm lost with how ppl throw MPC under the bus for not having a live session. When your dubbing in any machine weather it be Ableton push or SP-404 All these machines are dubbing track's. Relying on a machine for pitch or octaves to match is really poor production when music is played at a range of pitches and octaves.
