Wow Max, this is superpowefull, dont forget to think in the flexographic industry, in wich we need more resolution and higher lpi like 175 lpi or more. Can this be done without the halftone part, just the separations for a later RIP process?

Hi Mario, You can also use this at very high resolution or high LPI, and it is much like the normal photoshop index mode, except now you can try different types of patterns. In another video I will show some of the 256-pixel blue-noise patterns I have included, which should run at 1200dpi, and those could be saved and then blurred to create separations which can be ripped in a later process. I can explain how to extract the normal photoshop index separations as well as using this new pattern-overlay technique both manually and through the actions. The great part is that you can choose your own resolution and pattern, scale and angle. There are a lot of exciting ways to use this, and I love flexographic printing and how far it has come over the years! It would be exciting to see some of these separation and rip methods utilized in as many ways as it can be helpful and work well. Yes you should be able to run it, you'll also get access to the online web app also included with your purchase. You may want to try running images at 300 dpi to test things. When you know a good action to run, then try 600 or higher resolution and try to process only the 1 image and not a lot of other programs running. Photoshop will use a lot of ram and GPU anyway even without the actions... its the image-size -- large inch/cm and high dpi that can make it use a lot of system resources. Many new things are coming in 2024... the Photo-Tessellator and ScreenTone Pro are like a combined package.
