Nah Sa-chan is a boss. The minute he said he cheated on her and never loved her for the 4 years they were together, she made it her mission to break him. She offered her virginity to give him the thing he desired:sex. That's what he was doing with the neighbor and the only thing he seemed to want from these girls. After that, she continued to be the perfect girlfriend to him because she was making him fall for her. Who wouldn't want a girlfriend who's okay with you cheating on them? Then, when he's at the height of love for her...she dumps him. And when she said he'll never see her again, she meant it. That's a queen right there. This little girl Nao will never compare to her because god she's cool. Also, I recognized this art style because I read Inu to Kuzu as well. I also hated the writing and even the ending. This manga artist excels at showcasing humanity's baser emotions and thoughts that make you hate every character at the end of it.

And Sa-chan did all of that. Gave him affection, care at his vulnerable point, security, and ultimately her virginity. Not to mention, Sa- Chan herself knows it wasn’t healthy to do this but he literally told her all her 10+ years of love were a waste and she had been wasting her time and effort for nothing. She was mentally shocked and perhaps depressed. At first I was going to bring up Usagi Drop (you beat me to it, girl,) but as I thought about the last parts, I realized there's another 'romance' story that fits better. As someone who's polyamorous, having went through some WEIRD shit in my initial college years, I don't blame you. Too many people were literally just playing FAFO. After a certain point, I gave up on one guy I wasted too much time and energy over. He played around too much, ultimately becoming a divorced dad and fuckboy who tried to hit me up, in recent years-NO THANKS! 😵‍💫 Katagiri vaguely reminds me of him, though the former crush masked better by pretending to be bubbly and cheerful. And the **actual** person I first hooked up? He didn't hide that he was an utter sleaze. The creep was amusing, for a while, but never someone I had any romantic interest in. I was at least aware that I was just looking for physical comfort from him, though that didn't pan out well, either. He messed up a lot of people I cared about, and sometimes the shame from my past association with him comes back. Got plenty of other shameful hookups from my past...though young and dumb as I was, I **seriously** lucked out that I didn't wind up sick, pregnant, or worse. 💀 I still identify as polyamorous, but with MUCH stricter standards and some self-respect. My nesting partner is my greatest anchor and blessing, and we've known each other long before dating; he knows what I'm about, and what I've gone through. I don't do casual anymore, and any future partners that enter our dynamic are only welcomed if they meet my updated standards (starting with a well-established friendship). I just gotta question, what was the point? Almost every story has a point from questioning the meaning of life to simply being funny and everything in-between, but the only thing i can extrapolate from this is that it's supposed to be sad/depressing with no other real message besides "don't cheat on your partner" which could be convied way easier if it was shorter and it's hard to tell if they were even saying that cheating is bad because they try to give him a young girlfriend which he knew when she was younger because of his cheating. Another possible meaning would be that "one mistake can easily lead to more with more disastrous consequences" he cheats and then he keeps doing it which causes him to lose his girlfriend, then he has to pay the husband off and then he becomes a pdf. These are the only arguments i could think of and i had to stretch a little as well, however I'm pretty sure this is just the creators barely disguised humiliation kink.
