Thank you for taking the time to teach the care of our feet. I never realized how important these exercises were to master.

My friend is a reflexologist/pediatrist and when he visited my man he always gave me an hour or two foot massages. I learned a lot from his and still love to massage my feet. Feels soooo good. Ahhh.

where can i find a ball like you have ??
@cockeyedoptimista Жыл бұрын
Street hockey ball. Google would tell you. Near me, it said Dick's Sporting Goods and Walmart have that online. - I don't have one, nor a tennis ball either, and I'm really isolated so noone to ask for an old one. But you can probably find a tennis ball. In fact, maybe I'll go to the tennis courts and try to scavenge one. Also I was thinking maybe buy a dog-toy! - I'm making do with this hard "super-ball" I somehow had. (Also had a massage ball Somewhere but I can't find it; probably donated it during a clutter purge.)

I get quite serious toe cramping to where they involuntarily point up without my being able to manipulate them even using my hands. It’s very painful so I really need to try your techniques. I’ll let you know how it goes. You’re a pleasure to listen to. Thank you

Me too and ouch for sure. They start in my feet and work their way up my calves. I know what you're going thru.

Yah, I get cramps too! Drink lots of water; try to build up exercise slowly.. It happens more with age, something to do with nerve signals, I forget.

Cramping is a clear sign of MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY Include fruits & veggies that are high in Magnesium Also apply Magnesium Oil on the legs & feet Hope it helps I’ve personally benefited from including Magnesium in my diet

Looking forward to trying this! I’ve been dealing with a pesky sesamoiditis for the last year and a half. Assuming I’ll need to avoid massage over that sesamoid bone? Is there anything else I’d need to avoid? Thank you so much!!

Hi Margaret. I have been having lots of knee pain and also I can hear lots of crackling sound from my knees, can I still do your knee bending stretching? Will it help to improve my knee condition?. Or should I avoid this knee stretching exercise? I am 57. Kindly advice. Thank you

What happens if you broke your foot on the edge where the smaller bones are and have a plate in your foot and it bothers you when your walking long distances?

My knees really hurt when I try this. Any advice?

She speaks of using pillow to open the knees when sitting to stretch the ankles. Perhaps it might help if you use a pillow during the other exercise. Idk

What do you do to increase flexibility after Bunyan foot surgery? It seems to have thrown off my whole foot.
@cockeyedoptimista Жыл бұрын
Well, Paul Bunyan may have had bunions too, probably from wearing those big stomper boots while he chopped down trees.

Hi Margaret. I would like to try doing the exercise where you sit on our knees. I had a full knee replacement around 7 years ago and since then I have avoided sitting on the floor like this. Is this exercise safe to do with a TKR? I really want to be able to sit on the floor and have that flexibility but am worried I might damage the knee.

Thank you! I tried to move to barefoot shoes last year. I did well for awhile then got tight Achilles’ tendons and sore heals. Hoping these exercises will help.

Did you give up on the "barefoot" shoes? I thought they were supposed to make toes less cramped up. Always looked intriguing but I never tried.
@sharonmitchel1377 Жыл бұрын
@@cockeyedoptimista i am retired so wear wamsutta flat soled slippers around the house. In the summer I am mostly barefoot. Outdoors when walking or on uneven surfaces like during gardening 8 wear my old hiking boots. I continue to do foot, balance and leg strengthening and stretching exercises. I am much better now.
