Hi Mam, Should women sit in a corner in the room at this time (menstrual cycle)? From ancient times, in my family, all the women at the time of the menstrual cycle used to sit at a place for 3-5 days. They are seen as untouchables at that time. Should we also follow that? Please Please make a video on this.

I really loved “there is no helpless and hopeless situation in life. Don’t think that women are structured to suffer every month. There should not be any suffering. No pain. No cramps” I am going to shift my mindset to align with these powerful statements. I love the advice in this video and already use good rest and a hot water bottle. Both help immensely. I will try the other steps as well because they are so practical and wise. The hardest will be avoiding the salts and sweets but I want my body to be able to shed & detox properly.

1. Drink beets, pumpkin, carrot smoothie. Boil them then blend Add some lemon 2. Increase oxygenation with deep breathing and yoga and walking (will release pain relieving endorphins) 3. Eat green leafy vegetables, nuts and seeds. Avoid salty and sugary food. Eat fiber and protein rich food 4. Use heating source on abdomen to improve blood circulation and cramps. Use warm bath one time per day 5. Do not do excess work 6. Drink turmeric black pepper milk 7. Guided meditations and abdominal breathing

In my 40s I can say much of this is true.. Dont feel embarassed if your body cant do physical work on the first day.. The older me listens to my body… I dont over exercise during that time. Also I see my period is down time and much needed rn r .. also in a weird way a kind of rewardfor working hard during normal times

I agree, ever since I started giving myself a day of rest on the first day of menstruating, my period has become not only manageable but enjoyable 😊 I am also in my 40s and it took me this long to allow myself that love and respect for the work my body does.

@bluetinsel7099 Жыл бұрын
The fat from the cow milk helps with the absorption of the turmeric along with the pepper, so a coconut milk or a plant milk with more fat may be better. Dairy in general is not the best for skin and menstruation so a plant milk with some fat would be a better alternative. Also a little oil mixed with turmeric and pepper can be helpful taken alone or added to cooking.

Hello and thank you for this vedio. I have 2 concerns.. 1st somewhere I have read that as per Ayurveda we should not take bath for atleast 3days. Here in the vedio it is suggested a hot water bath once a day. 2ndly I get very bad headaches. 2-4 days prior to menuration (sometime during also ) and in the end . These headaches are unbearable with no relief either with balms or medication. Crown Chakra and eyes browse are the areas most effected with the killing pains. Please suggest a solution 🙏

I believe the three days no bath referred to head baths or basically not washing your hair for those first three days, but still bathing your body.

If it is unbearable then it's okay to take painkillers on the first or second day. But you can avoid pain by using a heat pad, drinking lots of water and eating healthy. My advice-sleep through it. Just sleep. It helps
