This is considered their lightest song. More representative of their catalog would be songs like, "Teacher, Teacher", "Pit Of Consciousness", "Home Back", and their new song "Vortex". They have a large catalog of official and live performances. "Pit of Consciousness " live in Kiev is particularly good, also "Perennial", live in Wacken 2019 is also a high quality live performance. Thanks for the honest reaction. Pisces is also a song I rarely listen to outside of watching reactions.

Gwen Stefani of No Doubt is one of Tatiana's biggest influences (for her clean vocal style) so she would not mind that comparison at all. She's mentioned her in many interviews. The influence is even stronger in some of her other songs. Fans don't generally consider this to be one of their best songs, but it's good for an introduction because of the 50/50 split of the two styles. As many others will say, Perennial live at Wacken 2019 and Who's Gonna Be The One are great live performances, and probably better songs.

Yes, you got it right, Guano Apes is one of their influences. About the song, as far i can see, its the perfect introduction to metal for people that dont listen metal, at least that was the case with me, at 30 i never liked anything metal, now im hooked, this song is the perfect transition, after this you listen other of their songs, and people like me start understanding the pleasure. If you arent into pure metal, this gets you closer, song after song. Next would be, Perennial at wacken, Teacher Teacher (that you already did), Juzgement and finally Home Back. Good analysis.

Tatiana has quite a strong tomboy streak. When she was learning to growl she started by emulating Dig by Mudvane and the biggest influence on her growling technique is Randy Blythe from Lamb of God. They did a cover of Laid To Rest when they were starting out - only bootlegs exist, best sound is the one uploaded by NosSam in 2012 with the title all in Russian except the name Jinjer. I always recommend following up with a concert video. Perennial live at Wacken is a popular choice with similar intensity to this but on stage. Who Is Gonna Be The One is a classic too with more focus on growls including lower growls. They also released a new single a couple of weeks ago called Vortex that is fiiiiiiire! To see a hint of the future of metal, check out 9 year old girl Harper doing a cover of Spiritbox's song Holy Roller. Oh, you might need to react to the original song too if you haven't heard it. Subbed. Cheers!

The good thing about Jinjer is that they have lots of different stuff so most of metalheads (and not only them) could find something that fits good for them. Actually they are quite experienced band - about 12-13 years, 4-5 albums and hundreds of live performances all over the world. As a result they have more then dozen outstanding songs, in most cases more impressive when they performed live. Assuming you are prefer more fast and aggresive sound then Pisces (it's one of their calmest song), with more belting combined with growl and scream, I think you'd be interested in "On The Top". Official live in Kiev would be the best choice for checking.

It's just my opinion but hands down Tatiana is the best metal vocalist at the moment. This song is actually a few years old and she has developed so much since then, wich will be obvious if you tjeck out their new single Vortex. Besides Tatiana the rest of the band, Roman on guitar, Vlad on drums and Eugene on bass, are incredible musicians as well. As for the shock value wich made this song go viral it took Jinjer on the fast track towards recognition and an ever growing fan base. By many referred to as Jinjer Army.

As others said, saying this sounds like No Doubt would be a compliment for Tati. Gwen Stefani was one of her major influences when she first started singing. In fact all of her influences come from pop, reggae, soul, and other genres of that sort. Very little if any of it comes from metal.

Yes, Yes, Yes. Thank you. Finally someone makes the same comparison like me. Yes, it sounds like No Doubt and Guano Apes. And I can top that, it also heavily reminds me of Die Happy. Most of the people in the beginning oftten said: "Oh this is like NIghtwish or Evanescnse or Within Temptation", because this were the only bands that came into their mind when it comes to progressive bands with a female lead. I might be wrong, but I now know that I am not alone. Cheers, LIa

Saying Tati sounds like a good is not a bad thing. That’s what she wanted to sound like when she growls. That’s not even her deepest growls either. Her range is nuts 😂. The whole no doubt everyone basically says it one of her biggest influences was Gwen Stefani from no doubt. Amy Whinehouse is another of her biggest influence. I know Opeth was big with her as well. That’s why she wanted to sound like a guy.
