I got pregnant after being forced with out consent to have sex, I woke up the next day naked and terrified. I was poor, and alone. I was scared beyond words. But I got through it on my own. My own mother said to me (what are you doing bringing a life into this world when you are not prepared and young). I had absolutely no support. I took it head on and kept my baby. My son is now 24 and is the most wonderful human being that I ever met. I am happy that I chosen life.

My mom said if I had gotten pregnant when I was a teen, she would have “made” me get an abortion. Maybe she said that out of fear, regardless if it were hypothetical, but I don’t think I could ever tell my daughter to abort my grand baby. She’s too young to worry about that right now, but a baby is never a burden. They’re not easy, and they’re a challenge but never a negative. I had my kids at 24 and 36; they’re still a challenge, and nobody is perfectly ready for a baby, as they’re life-changing, but they are just another person on your team.

As someone who has gone to school for Biology and Nursing, I can't believe a medical student just lied about what a nine week old fetus looks like. That is absolutely wild to me. What she showed in the dish is another kind of tissue that comes from accessory structures of the pregnancy, not an actual fetus. Same! I was 19 and I’m my second year of university living in residence. I had been with my BD for only a month. I had an appointment at the abortion clinic and was scheduled for an abortion on the upcoming Monday. I couldn’t go thru with it. I was terrified and had no idea what I was going to do. It was hard but my baby girl is now 23 and she is my absolute pride and joy!!!! I wouldn’t change it for the world.

My frustration with young ladies like this is that she probably comes from a two parent home with siblings and cousins. You should use the same language regardless if the baby is wanted. That would be true informed consent, letting the mother understand fully that it is a baby regardless so she can understand the full depths of her decision. You shouldn’t make her feel comfortable with murder. Bravo Michael!

My great grandmother’s husband was killed by a jealous psycho path and she was forcibly taken and made to bear 6 of his children. One of those kids was my grandmother who is an amazing woman and who later gave birth to my daddy who was fabulous father. The circumstances of conception were horrific but life is life. I am a medical professional, RN for 23 years as well as a WHNP and FNP for over 10 years. I have more experience than she does. I know that abortion is murder and especially late term abortion is NEVER required to safe a mothers life. If the baby is past the age of viability, then the baby is delivered as safely as possible to treat any pregnancy complex. Killing a viable baby is NOT needed.

This is so sad for many reasons. First, Bronte is clearly so empty. There is a profound sadness in her eyes and demeanor as well as very evident subdued anger. Second, and probably more obvious is that she is not really smart-exceptionally average. Does not seem to have the ability to think beyond the surface of the issue. This is what we are accepting into US med schools? I can qualify that with 30+ years in medicine and my husband 35+ years in surgery. This child greatly lacks the humility one must have to be a great doctor. She has A LOT to learn. I’d be happy to teach her. We need to pray for her bc she is hurting. Activists usually don’t make great doctors as it is too distracting. She would do herself a world of good to get off the high horse, experience life, be quiet, focus more on her studies, learn from others and learn to become more self aware, and pray a little

This third year medical student thinks she is the smartest person in the room. I would love to see her walk into an emergency room in a big city and talk to other physicians or nurses this way. She deflects and constantly puts Michael down in a passive aggressive way. As a “medical professional” who has been in the field for 20+ years, I will say she is the product of two decades of politicization of our medical system. It has become mired in political bias and social pressure. Experienced physicians are at their wits end and hate dealing with these know it all students.

It’s a fallacy. She used quite a few of them in this debate. Average people can’t recognize the errors in using fallacies in arguments, and that’s why they are so effective and prolific in modern debate. Smart people see through fallacies and judge debates on their truly logical content. The conservatives are better with logical arguments and that’s because they usually argue the truth, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t use fallacies just as much as liberals.

Knowles had her on insisting it would be a discussion instead of “debate”, he uses rhetoric he has practiced many times to push his agenda and strawmans her arguments. He didn’t even know the leading cause of death of pregnant people, for crying out loud. That’s such a basic fact that illustrates he doesn’t know much about the topic.
