This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzbin.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

Michael Malice gives the best case for anarchism I've seen in decades.
@NautilusGuitars3 жыл бұрын
Michael is great, but if you want to hear the guy he looks up to in terms of anarchist thought, I'd recommend Tom Woods for philosophical/political arguments. Robert Murphy nails the coffin shut on all of the economic arguments. And Dave Smith is amazing at showcasing the absurdity and hypocrisy of statism, especially in a cultural context. Michael barely scratched the surface here. I wish they talked about it more. There's a reason most people who actually listen to the arguments become anarchists. It's far more fleshed out than most people allow themselves to believe.
@NautilusGuitars3 жыл бұрын
@@lolcano2346 You find it hard to believe? Go see for yourself then. This isn't amatuer hour. You can dismiss it all you want and pretend it's not true with your baseless conjecture about how "gov't is the only thing holding the economy together", but objective, demonstrable data is standing in you're way. You're just repeating clichés you've been force fed since childhood, with no effort whatsoever to challenge those notions. This isn't new. This isn't hastily thrown together. The arguments are superior, persuasive, and demonstrably true. You pretending it's absurd means absolutely nothing to reality. It's clear by your immediate dismissal that you're the kind of person who had no desire whatsoever to challenge your beliefs, and instead are only willing to consume information that defends your beliefs. That's not the road to truth, and it's frankly childish. I came to this conclusion, like many others, by *actually* making an effort to test and challenge what I believed. I was a bona-fide socialist long before it was a trendy cliché. I'm not now, because of far superior arguments and data. So, it's your choice. Everything you need to challenge yourself is present and available. I don't need to "prove it" because the proof is already accessible to you, you just choose not to indulge it. Go read "Man, Economy, and State" if you want a deep dive and have a high level of reading ability. Or start with Murphy's "Chaos Theory" if you want a quick summation of what different approaches are possible. Dismissing it before you've ever set your eyes on it, says more about you than it does anything else.

Lex listing how Joe Rogan is considered "radical" is hilarious. They're the most boring, safest, laziest, baseline opinions just a few years ago, and now, it makes one "radical". Unbelievable. No wonder Michael Malice laughs all the time.

I’d say Joe’s opinions on covid-19 weren’t the safest, but definitely the laziest👍
@WolfgangN.24 жыл бұрын
Can you give some examples of ideas that were "boring, safest, laziest, baseline opinions" that joe held a few years ago but are now considered radical? I don't think Joe is very radical, but I often find him to be a voice of reason. I'm sure your statement holds true on some topics. But I see the opposite happening with some ideas, M4A was considered "radical" in america just a few years ago, and now it's supported by 87% of democrats and 52% of Republicans. $15 minimum wage was considered radical, but now that it's been implemented in multiple states anf cities for a few years with good results it's become normal enough that florida voted for it(wage increase to $15 over a couple years I believe) yet they voted for trump. legalizing weed was considered radical even years after some states had done so with great success. Now in 2020 even "always red" states are legalizing weed. and my favorite of all is Oregon decriminalizing all drugs and legalizing mushroom therapy. None of these things were ever radical to me, they seemed like common sense. But to many they were radical policies that people claimed would be the end of American Democracy. Funny how they always fear change, but when they change actually comes they want it for themselves. We all need to stop fighting no matter how stupid the other side seems. I fear some of them are too stupid to listen/think about ideas outside their echo chambers. But we have to at least try to take on the establishment together, instead of taking on one another.
@joshuabethea26504 жыл бұрын
Joe is pragmatic and moderate. Radicals generally are not and ideologues by definition not. But these are rough categories from which we are all bound to stray if context matters at all. The need for simple labels dominates everything as a form of shorthand thought.

Rogan is greatness. I think Lex is a good kid but naive. I would certainly like to hear specifically what "Rogan gave Trump a pass on". The fact that Rogan loves Tulsi and Hillary called her a "foreign agent" illustrates that we do live in 2 Separate countries- one for the People and the other "what people?"
