What impresses me most about Michael's performances is the lack of maliciousness. I know many comics like to have an 'edge' and often a particular target in mind (I'm not knocking that - it makes a lot of people happy). Some comics are deliberately offensive (I'm not knocking that, either), but Michael seems able to take any topic imaginable and make people laugh just by smothering it with joy. What a great way to earn a living. :-)

Writing a review is the part I'm the most excited for once I get home :( I collect folders and business cards from the hotels I visit, I try to take nice pictures from every angle before I settle in with my bags and I take pictures of the dishes I order. It's so much fun to help hotels and restaurants better their services because some do actually read and respond to every single comment they receive.

Some places already have so many that I don't bother. I made a special point to review a wonderful health food restaurant in Cyprus because the caring owner mentioned that she didn't know if it would stay open much longer due to lack of local support. It does sound a bit like him. 😂😂😂 'unacceptable in capitals '. I actually read that in Snape's voice as well. 😂😂😂 That is actually something Snape would probably do, if he ever stayed at a hotel or if he was a hotel manager. He'd be taking 50 points from every staff member for their bad work and giving them a months detention. 😂😂😂 And the guests, don't get me started, if you left your apartment in a mess. 'AVADA KEDAVRA'

On previous family vacays we never booked all meals in the hotel. Just breakfast & dinner. But not bc we're cheap (we'd go out for lunch at cafes etc, not saying others are cheap if you choose to not do the following) but bc you might have an excursion on one day etc. And you don't want to be obligated to not go on excursions bc you paid extra for the hotel lunch.

OMG: You know that thing about sticking a knife in your toast when it's popped to get it out? Well firstly, I'm a pretty clever person with high level career etc. But I used to get my toast out with a knife for years, every day, consistently, didn't even think about it! I didn't even know you might die doing it? I never touched the sides as I needed to get the toast out so had to put my knife in the middle of the toast so it would "stick in" if you know what I mean? Anyway I went online dating and met a guy who came home to mine and saw me do this and went "WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! DON'T BE SO BLOODY STUPID!" I had no clue at all! It's a bit like another guy I met who when I was cooking us pizzas told me to put the oven on first and warm it up to temperature and THEN put the pizzas in - Amazing! Have never had a burnt pizza since! I just thought I was saving time. Anyway!
