It was smart using electronics for the drums. It’s the only way to the match the original studio sounds. Geoff Tate did the same thing on his last tour. It makes a huge difference. Well done.

I'm glad you shared this with us. I love White Lion but this isn't White Lion. Mike has lost his power and turned those amazing songs into a bad karaoke band version. The songs are barely recognizable to the original. And I can't believe he said he was going to do something stupid like meeting his fans and signing autographs and taking pictures with them. What a complete slap in the fans face. I'm glad I know that I don't want to waste my money on seeing this version of Mike Tramp's karaoke white lion tribute. No wonder Vito won't play with him. His ego is still huge and he obviously thinks spending time with fans is stupid....a direct quote from him in this video.
@MelvinZoopers2 ай бұрын
What are you talking about?? He never said that this is White Lion. Listen to any recent interview he has done lately. We don't live in 1988 anymore & he can't sound like the younger version of him. He met his fans after the show & took the time to sign autographs & take pictures...all free of charge. Vito doesn't play with anyone anymore as he has been off the grid for 30 years now.
@mattmacarthur5202 ай бұрын
What a stupid comment . Get a clue man this is his life’s work , he has every right to play these songs as Vito who obviously has been gone for 30 years! Get over it people lol

What are you talking about? The guy has zero ego. Have you met him? He loves music and has every right to play the songs HE sang years ago (and wrote in many cases, including When the Children Cry)…you’re part of the problem with this negativity. Go back to your hole.

No matter how good the respective artist might still be, the whole "Name of person -apostrophe S, followed by name of once-notable band" just makes me kind of sad for some reason.. In a parallel universe, I'm sure real live rock music still sold in the millions, and never got sidelined by modern autotune production and people still flocked to arenas to hear real people play live and raw. Or maybe I'm just a grumpy old Gen-X er lol. This sounds pretty good actually. "Tell Me" , "Little Fighter" and some of the other classics, has kinda vague Springsteen vibes, played in a lower tuning here and the way Mike strums a Telecaster. Great lead guitarist too)))

This is exactly why Vito Bratta doesn't wanna play with him anymore. They had a discussion that he would not name his band White Lion and that's exactly what he's calling it, Mike Tramp's White lLon. It's not White lLon and him and Vito Bratta said that he,Mike would not call the band White Lion and that's exactly what he's calling the band. Its called nostalgia, people don't care that grew up with these bands, they just want to see their idols when they were teenagers and they now have the cash to do it. All the vocalists from that era sound nothing like they did back then, Tom keifer, Jeff keith, Joe Elliot, Vince Neil, Axel Rose, Bon Jovi David Coverdale ectttt. all of them sound awful if you compare then to their primes and yet some fill stadiums. Mike sounds no worse then any of them. And the important thing is, the crowd is cheering, not booing soooo why shouldn't he play?
