Marcelito is well known for his solo duets. He used to live on the streets and taught himself to sing, he is a very kind and humble guy. Listen to him sing Hallelujah or beauty and the beast. He also sings Celine's Power of Love on the Wishbus. I loved your reactions, Marcelito is very special.

About every 6 months or so i type into KZbin 'Marcelito pomoy the prayer reaction videos' just to see all new the people's astonished faces when he switches to that low voice and they realise that yes ... he's singing a duet all by himself, this is what world class talent looks like people

@@RNTV So I looked into his background a bit. Looks like both his mom & dad left him & a police officer ended up taking him in. He worked at a restaurant or something like that and started singing in the restaurant where he showcased his skills. He went on to Philippines Most talented & won second place. Ellen DeGeneres saw him & put him on her show. The rest is history, so to speak. He’s as humble as Dimash. He resides in his homeland & helps build homes for the less fortunate. Guys the real deal!

He entered Philippines got Talent and won, he says The Prayer is his signature song because he sang it in the final and he says that's what changed his life around. He does so much for less fortunate people, donates food, baby items and helped build a few homes for elderly people in the Philippines. He is very humble and kind. You picked a very worthwhile guy to react to.

Tnx Guys for appreciating this amazing Pilipino Self Taught Artist. Marcelito had no vocal training whatsoever in his whole freaking life, he discovered and learned his Dual Voices while tending Chickens in a Coop. He won the Pilipinas Got Talent and was invited in "America Got Talent: The Champions", to compete with all the past winners. He was the overwhelming favorite both by the audience and Netizens but ended up 4th place. You can chk out his 3 songs (the prayer, time to say goodbye, and Beauty and the beast) for your future reactions. Am not very sure if he's already back in the Philippines from his US Tours. It’s a Philippine tradition for men to sing in two voices, but he is special. He is self-taught. He did all that in one take, sitting down on a moving bus (the Wish bus). He is also singing in two foreign languages, since his native language is Tagalog. What he did seems impossible, but that didn’t stop him from giving this gorgeous performance. The audience is told as a surprise that Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli is doing a duet and this guy no one's ever seen before, comes out and sings like this. Yep, the first time of seeing this is something of a life experience! Marcelito is the guy who got Angelina Jordan knocked out of America's Got Talent - The Champions (along with the very weird voting system where none of the audience or viewers got to vote)! But he is a great talent, and an incredibly modest and nice guy too.

Yep, out of the singers on AGT-C, Marcelito was in first place (4th of final 5) and Angelina (not ranked but, in the top 10) was in second place. They were the only two singers in the top 10. Crazy voting system on that show.
