Despite battling rain and hail, the modification journey of my 1981 Toyota Hilux Tacoma, known as the Toyoda/Hondota, continues. This C-Notched 1981 Hilux, featuring a Hybrid K20A2/K24A2 engine, Formula 1/cantilever style suspension, and QA1 coilover shocks, is a force to be reckoned with. Rolling on 15X10 wheels wrapped in 195X50X15 Achilles 123S tires, with a custom alloy Hilux tray build, this minitruck is poised for a strong time attack theme and drifting adventures.

Hahahahaha I figured there was a lot of traffic walking by during lockdown and thinking wtf is going on here. So just chucked it up to pacify anyone’s curiosity. Only reason I’m doing it out on the road because my other car is in the shed and I’m too lazy to put lights in there, plus it’ll suck pushing it in and out all the time.....😅

Do you guys have to have engineers inspect your work like they do in AUS?

Yeah you do - for certain things. I’m going to get away with the majority of the mods until I start getting deep into the build like the engine ect but want it enjoy it before all that.
