I firmly believe for every ejection there needs to be an investigation to make sure that the player deserved to be ejected and if he didn’t the umpire should be find or suspended. I also think umps need to be held accountable for their bad calls

Hmmmm umpires are the biggest cry babies? They get get a fraction the amount of the big league ball players minimum salary. They are constantly being yelled at and complained to by those million dollar professional ball players that cry about everything and anything at times because they feel because I am a millionaire I am entitled. Yes umpires can make bad calls and yes they do control the game by doing so but they are also there to maintain control and safety. 1 last note... umpires see there families less then big league ball players do.

Three things are automatic: 1)Throw or abuse the equipment; 2) arguing balls and strikes; and 3) showing up the umpire. They didn't get those gray hairs of refereeing games for $5 at first, then the misery of "minor league 'dues paying", and the insanity of winter ball in volatile military dictatorships in Latin America, and NOT know how to do their jobs. It is funny how AJ Burnett is in the middle of a bunch of these. Even when it was Martin's mouth that got AJ in trouble. LOL

@@KDill29 Absolutely, however, if it's a minor infraction then an officer can choose to issue a warning at their own discretion. The same logic applies. In baseball, umps can even make the wrong call on purpose. In the past, any runners who slid into first base would be called out by the first base ump as punishment for breaking an unwritten rule.
