Same here, Marchesa is my first commander deck that I built, and although I steered away from stealing creatures with it, I keep loving it. It never gets old somehow, and neither do my opponents. :D

Just so you know. The Chandra emblems stick around, even though Logan is dead. I think Sam may have had it if that damage was kept track of. Who knows.

Oh snap, I looked it up and you ae correct. We all thought they disappeared when Logan died. Looking back at the video, Shelby couldn't have been able to go down to 1 life and Chandler would have had to tap the Great Henge during his upkeep to stay alive. Thanks for the heads up, we'll keep it in mind in the future!

Been playing Mogis for about 4 years now, one thing I've learnt after a lot of commander games is that, Mogis works best when the board is clear and the opponent's can't recover that well, I'd personally remove a few cards in order to have better handle on board control, anger of the gods, decree of pain, pyroclasm, all great cards that help keep the board under control, for some extra damage, Loyal Subordinate is a total MVP, and Massacre Wurm is one hell of a top card to make the game more interesting. overall, great video, and I'm always happy to see more Rakdos commanders in play.

Mogis looks really cool! I currently have a nekusar build that has some unusual ways to win. Acidic soil is one of my favorite cards and I think it would slot nice into that mogis deck

@@brandonfrew3221 i like this version of marchesa. Its my main commander and even tho i never feel like satisfied with her and how its build she give me plenty of wins. She is good i wish i had a dockside, its too expensive and i dont want to put proxies on her. its the only card that would be killer on her and i dont have.

Yeah im the same way with mine, minus the actual wins lol, I lose a lot with her But im always up for changing the strategy of the deck to see what I can do and what I shouldn't do with her I do have a dockside in mine though And its just as good as you could imagine lol Dockside plus Mikaeus is one of my favorite little combos Doesn't win me the game but I gets lots of mana

My Gnawbone deck is very similar to yours. Although I play Natural Order and Pattern of Rebirth because you can sac the creature that is enchanted which will trigger Pattern to get you a creature and then Natural Order resolve getting you anther creature. I did that a couple weeks ago and my opponents crapped their pants Vorinclex and Ghalta hit the field.

Not that it would have mattered, but you can't "hold priority" if it isn't your turn. The active player always gets priority immediately after an action resolves. To clarify, once the last draw trigger resolved for Marchesa, priority immediately returned to the active player. There was no option to "hold priority" now that the stack was empty, because only the active player can do that. Less relevant in combat, but it would certainly matter during a main phase.

Can someone explain the reasoning behind having a fetch land in a mono colored deck? He lost 2 life to find 2 forests, when he could have just had the forest and not lost the life. I get it if you want a shuffle or if you have landfall stuff, but this seems like a mono green stomp, why waste life when you don't need to?

There are a few cards in his deck with landfall. Tireless tracker, Avenger of Zendikar, etc. I assume this is the main reason, along with deck thinning.

Couldn't the Marchesa player have had infinite attacks by repeatedly sac'ing the scourge of the throne and returning it with Marchesa after each combat step? It had haste from anger. I feel like this should have worked. Anyway, gg. fun watch.

yep, sadly i dont have one and my Marchesa deck is proxy free i dont want to put any proxies in it. I even have mox diamond lol but dockside sadly is too expensive, needs a reprint.
