MORE BOOST!? FORGE MOTORSPORT TURBO INLET ADAPTER INSTALL/REVIEW!! - Renault Megane RS

IN THIS WEEKS VIDEO... We're intalling and testing the ‪@forgemotorsport‬ Turbo inlet adapter after some recommendations from fellow mk4 owners. So as with any of these mods, they claim many things, but we'll be focussing on the main features... 59% bigger inlet size, and apparently an audible difference and once we head up to the dyno we'll see if we've made any jam or not!

After a few days you will also feel a little change when you cold start the car. You will feel a little vibration in the car. But this very quickly goes away. Sometimes you don't even feel it. It's because now the engine gets more air inside due to the larger pipe and less restriction. Forge acknowledged that.

Hey bro random question, are your original Trophy black wheels painted? I'm getting a 2021 RS Trophy this week and just hate the chrome look. Was thinking of wrapping them but idk if that's a good idea?

Hey man! No they're diamond cut with red on... Absolutely horrible 😂 i had them refurbished in satin black and looked a lot better until i went to the pro tracks 👌

i cant use that pipe my Rs280 give me an error when i run in lower rpms in neutral mode i take it off :(

Hi mate question for you as I’m not mechanically minded so I take my rs to the garage to be maintained, is it me or rs’s need more maintenance I have replaced a lot of things on the car in 2 years than any other car I have own, is this the same with you or not ?

Hello mate! I haven't replaced much on the car really since having it nearly 3 years, i think with the highly strung sports models they normally do require a bit more maintenance, more so for safety and general health if you get me? Renaults maintenance plan will always be pretty extensive because they'll want you back spending money etc but are you talking about things breaking/going wrong?

@@VersionOneUK just general wear and tear, I do service the car every year but they are coming up with a lot of wear and tear on things at the moment and it’s very expensive

@@VersionOneUK just had the rear shocks done yesterday and they came back with the anti roll bar is knackered now 🙄 very time some new needs to be done

@@hm6471 leaking rear shocks is VERY common for some reason... That may have lead to your rear ARB going also

All the differences i noticed were in the video mate, performance wise its difficult to tell without a dyno but I'll be checking that in a future video 🙏

The car feels more agressive, more responsive then with the original pipe

@@Vbdragon i didn't feel really any of that personally, i assume because I'm tuned etc like i say its difficult to really gauge a 'performance' gain, but it does feel good!
