FAQ:
Q: Can any controller do this?
A: Most controllers since 2013 come with gyro sensors (excluding Xbox Controllers), so if you have a PS4, PS5, Joy-cons, switch pro controller, Steam Deck or any third party controller with a gyro sensor, yes, you can play with gyro aim.
Q: Can I use your configs on non-steam games?
A: YES! If you change the name of a non-steam game to the same steam ID of that game (that you can easily find on the steamDB), you will have access to every community config made for that game, that way you can easily import my configs. Unfortunately, some games won't show the steam overlay using this method, in this case I recommend a program called GLOSSI.
Q: Does gyro aim have Aim-Assist?
A: Ideally, no. Aim-Assist can feel like a magnet against your inputs while using gyro. Since gyro is a mouse, most games don’t even allow for aim assist, but if you are emulating an analog stick instead of a mouse, aim-assist can be activated, if you so choose.
Q: When I press the “home” button in-game, nothing happens.
A: make sure that the drivers of your controller are active by going to Steam, Settings, Controller, enable Steam Input for the controller that you are using.
Also, activate Big Picture Overlay when using a controller by going to Steam, Settings, In Game, Use the Big Picture Overlay when using a controller.

fun fact, to balance the Wii pointer making the game easier the diffuculty is puposely increased in comparison with other versions, which actually mkaes it intersting, this type of difficulty is actually better than just throwing more enemies at you or making it unfair, since both the player and the enemy are improved, you're more precise while your enemies are stronger, it's similar to Kingdom Hearts hard mode, where both you and the enemies are stronger

Been using motion control on Fortnite since Chapter 2 Season 3 , great for precision at longer ranges, mouse like aiming on a controller

Great and funny video! Hooray for motion controls!😄 I got used to configure gyro aiming on my PC via DS4Windows, but I will be more than happy if more and more FPS/TPS games will have native gyro support

Fun video I recently had a blast with GYRO enabled in a game (legend of zelda botw) and I am glad this is slowly being integrated in the gaming industry. Keep doing what you do and maybe games i play like Warframe and monster hunter start implementing this as basics for controller aiming.

Motion controls are good for steering in racing games. I don't have a steering wheel, and steering with a stick causes me too much understeer. With motion controls, I can control the steering much more precisely. I map leaning the controller to the horizontal direction of the left stick, ideally so that the range of steering is -90°-90°. Steam Controller uses the gyroscope for that, so it's quick and robust. But DualSense uses only the accelerometer (with Steam Input), so it has a greater delay and is thrown off by sideward movement.

Thes last of Us part 2 was so much fun and engaging with motion aiming turned on. I hope more and more AAA singleplayer games follow Naughty Dog's example.

Do you have any ideas on how to incorporate the touchpad on the Dualsense (or DS4 for that matter) in your gaming setups? Any type of game really? So I'm basically just curious about anything you've done with your motion controller that's *not* aiming related, lol. Although I'm using your videos as a resource for that purpose too. LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE EVERYONE! I've tried experimenting with the touchpad (swiping specifically) for action games like Yakuza to style switch, but it kind of sucks. Motion controls also kind of sucked in my experimentation with non-aiming setups. I'm also interested in the touchpad for its ability to serve as extra buttons. Although I might just need backbuttons if I really want to become more efficient, but that'd require soldering some weird third party thing or buying a new controller. But whenever I try to look into people's experiences on this specifically, I find little. Much less than gyro aiming stuff, which is already niche within gaming.

I'm glad you asked! In Final Fantasy 14 you need to hover the mouse on top of buffs and debuffs icons so you can read what they do. The game allows you to use a virtual mouse if you are using a controller, but natively you can just use the touchpad to act like a mouse! It works in pretty much every part of the game. Another cenario that it could work is something like Bayonetta 1 and 2 touch controls. You can play the entirety of both games with just a stylus, I guess that you could translate that to PS trackpads. In really complex games I add buttons on the touchpads as well, I guess that you could find other uses like quickly scrolling through a map, but I haven't tested many other uses. Kid Icarus uprising also uses the touchscreen for aiming, but the controlls of that game as absolutely crazy good.

I like to use it as camera controll on fps :P kinda weird but is fun to try lol but just like the various buttons emulation, i think the most common is the mouse emulation, so that you can play some minesweeper, little inferno or paper please on the couch. But this is only my experience of course, a lot of people may have better uses, my friend said once that using as camera removes the best feature for him that is to use like various buttons. I also like to use touch for ratcheting just like the alpakka controller, is really good and i played half life entirelly like this, without touching the right stick completelly.

Gyro controls are fun as hell, i've bought the armor x pro, its só comfy to play and my precision just got waaaay better. I wish xbox and many other games had gyro support Btw i have the same accent as you when i speak english, were u from?

Devs put lots on work into hit box but this aim assist player noob or pro don’t feel hit box size, how can they feel it true fps game potential, gyro & mouse we feel hit box size especially on those sweet headshot
