Mountain Walking In the Lakes | Scafell Pike & Castle Crag

Hey everyone, thank you so much for getting me to 80k subscribers! I am super grateful.
In this video we climbed the tallest mountain in England (Scafell Pike) and Castle Crag which is a Wainwright fell. Had such an amazing time climbing two mountains in the Lakes.

Great video. 2 weeks ago we camped on lingmell then made it to the top of scafell pike for sunrise. Very hard work carrying camping kit but worth it for the views.

A relaxing day. Only an 11 hours hike up and down and up and down and up the highest mountain you could find. In the heat, like a bunch of lobsters. I kinda wish I was there though! You are such a happy lot. I'll bring the sunscreen and some hats :D

Was up there late July walked up from Seascale and think I only passed about 10 people in the 3days I was hiking 👌 was amazing then decided to walk hadrians wall 2wks later and only time I seen any groups of people was at sycamore gap what was expected tbh

Good Nz morning Becky. Well everything about this video was great. Curious why you don't hike in shorts. So much easier than wearing long pants. Particularly if you get caught out in rain. Wet legs dry faster than wet long pants. And of course mountain weather can change very quickly. Just a quick Q+A..have you ever done wild swimming up in the mountains.? It's cold.!! To start with. @@jonfisher9214 g'day mate. Yeah i know about the ticks and midges. Back in August 2018 i spent about a week or so on Isle of Lewis with family and friends. It was pretty warm for the island then and i was warned to look out for midges and ticks while hiking there and around Scottish highlands. Two years later, and I'm still waiting. Where are they.??
