I bought a PS90 SBR. It took the ATF 14 months to process my application and I already have a concealed carry permit AND work for a State Law Enforcement Agency. Waited 14 months... worth it! Some advice - DO NOT pay the $200 tax stamp for the Short Barrel. INSTEAD buy the regular PS90 with the 16" barrel, then pay $200 for a 6 inch suppressor. Once you receive the tax stamp for the suppressor, buy a 10" short barrel and permanently affix the suppressor to it for an overall length of 16". That way you have a legally suppressed PS90 with a legal barrel length. Just my thoughts...

Design Machine makes custom mounts so you can remove the factory rail, and put in a shorter mount for an optic, reducing the height over bore issue. Other than that, I love it dearly. My wife wanted to shoot a full auto AK, I surprised her by taking her to Openrange in Lexington. No ak's so she chose the P90. She had never shot before, so the range guy started her with 2 mags in a ruger 22, then a few semiauto in the P90, then some burst, then full auto for the rest of the mag. The 2nd mag was 50 rd full auto. She loved it, and I still have the 1/4 size torso target, with 110 holes on target.

The only downside to this gun is the ammo it fires. It's very specific and sometimes very hard to come by. Don't get me wrong, this gun is on my wish list but not until after I get something like a Vector that fires 9mm or .45mm only because those calibers are far more common and easier to obtain.

Had this gun for a while now, it's a blast to shoot, have an ACOG/RMR combo on it. I've taken it out to 1,200 yards and was ringing steel consistently. Been trying to tell everyone how great of a round 5.7x28 is, and it's finally getting some attention with Ruger making the Ruger 57, and PSA making a pistol that'll come later this year chambered in it. Part of me wants this gun/round to stay niche / looked over, but there's another part of me that's excited that a lot more people will get to enjoy it.

This video I'm sure has nothing to do with the fact that the 5.7 round and the P90 were designed to penetrate Russian body armor since the 9mm pistols were not cutting it, which left the truck drivers and the like vulnerable. #CurrentEvents
@randomidiot81422 жыл бұрын
Russian body armor *at the time*. Serious doubts as to it's effectiveness on modern armor... M855a1 is a better choice.
@davidgoodnow2692 жыл бұрын
Current Russian standard-issue body armor is Level-4/ E-SAPI. It bounces even 7.62 NATO standard Armor-Piercing at anything over 100 yards. But, it's not full-body coverage. That's where an accurate, fast-recovering weapon that handles quickly is important--shooter can target, shoot, re-target, shoot very quickly. Disable, kill; disable, kill. The other option is something that hits crushingly hard, like a shotgun with magnum sabot slugs from a long-ish barrel, or an elephant gun with solids. Even if the target isn't dead, it's incapacitated.
