So glad to see another Melek deck. He was my first ever commander, but I ended up replacing him with Adeliz after a while. Because, sadly, he's pretty overcosted on top of being super telegraphed.

I was kind of shocked that Tommy seemed to be targeting him instead of Joe late in the game but it paid off for Tommy when all was said and done. Maybe they know what Zach's deck can do better than us observers?

I got Korlash as well and just play with as many 'search for land' cards as I can. After that some swamp synergy cards. Got some decent black staples to back him up a little bit. I just lack on the card draw department.

I don't know if Zach knows this, but if you put a Snow-covered Swamp under an Extraplanar Lens, it doesn't give a symmetrical effect for other people Edit: It seems the table didn't know that Extraplanar Lens has a symmetrical effect on lands with the same name as the one exiled

That will depend on the play group. Mine just loves to play snow lands for no reasons other than "they look better" so with them you'd be better served by playing plain old basics. XD

:D Fetching banishing light to exile Necropotence seems like a really bad move from my perspective if you look at the board state. I mean Zach is already taking 14 in his upkeep from Nekuzar and Underworld dreams. Dont think he wants to pay more life to draw extras.
