As a fat dude transitioning from overeating and constantly indulging to a proper nutritious diet, i struggled hard in the beginning. The way Fouad teaches is the proper way though, and it really helped me. Make your food taste good, otherwise you won't stick to your diet, and consistency is key! I really enjoyed your debate today on ex. I think you made valid points but for a very small number of guys. In general I think much fewer have the same dedication as you and Luke. It's like your sticking up for a damn small number of people. I think that sums it up but I respect your knowledge and what you share. I just thought I'd try and shed light on how some of us see it rather than guessing. I dont always buy what others say just because they say so. I love bodybuilding and look at it as art so Everything I look at very picky. I want to be the best I can be and I look all over the place. I'm also 45 and set a difficult challenge for a dear friend who passed away in August. That said thanks again for a great video and wish you all the best. Your a great guy with a big heart so not everyone deserves your support. Lol. Seriously your a good man.

I marinate the chicken thighs with Weber honey Garlic rub. Marinate it for a day. Put it in the oven at 425 for 40 mins, flip it at 20 mins. Then I just get mushrooms, asparagus, peppers, and onion. Then pan fry it. Then I get about a cup of rice (better than sushi rice. Sorry fouad). The rice I eat is millet, barley, sweet rice, brown rice, and one korean thing idk. And yes, you need the rice cooker. Apparently what I said is cooking 🤷♂️.

"Muscle building meals" lol we all know Fouad is just teaching us how to actually prepare a whole meal. The only thing missing is dessert, honestly. This is a good healthy meal that'll actually taste good. Yes it's good for bodybuilding, but anyone can make, eat, and enjoy this. Edit: yeah actually Fouad really has a full-blown cooking show lol. Running cold water or throwing cooked veggies in an ice bath is called "shocking" them. Stops the cooking process.

My father forces me (and my brothers: 3 of them) to eat salad at least once a day, and he says eat it before meal and you can divide it to two salads a day with half the amount you usually eat. He always dresses it with Olive oil, lime, and pink salt. The salad is: lettuce, green onion leaves, parsley or his cousin (forgot its name), tomatoes, celery, mint and other green leaves (forgot their name in english but here they are in Arabic: رويد، فرفخ، جرجير، وصماق). it is a hell of a salad, the entire neighborhood and extended family loves it (his specialty lol). Try it, it makes stomach feels super comfy and no constipation AT ALL even though I eat rice and meats like crazy (even at breakfast some times). Edit: forgot to mention some more ingredients; beats, cucumber, carrots. Edit: I agree, the best diet is a balanced one, smaller amounts and divided throughout the day that sum up to your target micro nutrients. Though the night (last meal) is usually difficult to swallow. Edit: some of these ingredients work as a natural laxative e.g. فرفخ I think it is called Purslane in English. final note: I like the fact that you cook on a natural gas stove. It cooks the best and tastes the best (don't ask me why I tried all nothing worked better than natural gas stove). The food looks delicious, when are we invited at your place Fouad? :P

With my asparagus, I pan fry in coconut oil and add salt, pepper, garlic (powder). Something about kosher salt and coconut oil give a nice texture on the asparagus and flavor. Also, if you accidentally overcook your asparagus, just mince it up and throw it in your rice to avoid the mushy texture.

Another reason some of that fat in the steak is good for you is a lot of those micronutrients found in vegetables are fat soluble meaning they can only be digested with fat. If you just eat those veggies and no fat with them you absorb way less micros.
