It's better to not lock your knees on the leg extensions, also helps to isolate the quads better.

Some guys have no problem staying in classic- others have to basically starve themselves and loose muscle in order to stay in the weight class. Just depends on the athlete.

CONGRATULATIONS on Your 2023 212 MR. OLYMPIA Victory. You Deserve It!!! I love watching all your videos especially the Leg ones...because Calves and Legs are my favourite and strongest body part. I also love the fact that you wear my favourite Muscle Boots "OTOMIX" . I am in my fifties and have been wearing them since early nineties. They are amazing shoes they look cool and are comfortable. I have a training partner who swears by RYDERWEAR....but OTOMIX look cooler and last longer...especially if you look after them. All the Best in continued success my friend. 👍💪💪💪

For sure. Legs have to be put through a lot to really stand out on stage. The athletes that have the best legs train at an insane mix of heavy volume.

@@graysongalich4053 Yeah especially in bodybuilding. The hamstrings are so essential for so many poses it's hard to get them all in a day. Everyone is different though.

Watching Keone on the leg press, I found myself saying "hey I do the same thing"... of course I'm not talking about the triple drop set with probably triple my working weight. I'm talking about putting my hood up during the set, which I only do to hide the ugly faces I make for the last few reps lol
