This puts Ernie Ball Musicman in an amazing light, and they deserve it. So many people don't understand how amazing their instruments are. Imagine a Fender or Gibson with modern appointments, amazing tone, and superb custom shop level quality control. I have a fair few Musicman guitars and basses and still in 2018, 23/24 years after first seeing a Musicman Stingray, I want to invest more in their instruments. This is a great documentary, and I hope we see more Musicman guitars and basses hitting the UK soon. One of the best guitar companies on the planet.

I’m in love. Rob, what a completely brilliant, well put together, insiteful, and eye-opening piece of work. Both companies, Music Man and Chapman, should benefit from this. At first, I questioned whether there may be a touch of apprehension on the part of Music Man for allowing a relative newcomer (albeit powerhouse and let’s be honest: competitor) to guitar manufacturing to stroll through their workshop and witness their secrets of the trade. However, I quickly got the feeling that there was none and that I was simply watching a group of people bond and fellowship over their shared love of guitars. I can’t imagine how inspiring it had to have been to just sit and listen to story after story from Sterling about his time in the business. This vid sheds an overwhelmingly positive light on both companies involved and I’m now a larger fan of both companies after watching. Thank you. And thank you again.

Congratulations Rob. You’re an inspiration to many folks from all walks of life. Personally, this vid begs a question or two. Do you think Sterling and he members of the Music Man crew would ever be invited to go hang out and tour any of the factories that manufacture Chapman guitars and, if so, what kind of guitar do you think they would design and have you build for them, conversely? I think that would be a wicked awesome follow up to this video.

I really enjoyed this video. I know some of the haters will jump on this comment but guys, have you seen another Guitar Company owner talking so good about a potential competitor? Can you imagine, for example, Gibson's CEO making a video like this about, say, Fender? You might like Rob's guitar or not, you might like his music or not, but this video was totally refreshing. Well done.

Cesar All Guitar I've seen interviews with EB employees in the past. If I ever spent that amount on a guitar it would be from a company like theirs. I would want my money to go to good dudes. I don't understand the cult of personality surrounding the three letter brand and the obsession with flame tops. I've seen the interviews with PRS and would go out of my way to not give him money. I might buy one second hand if the price were right but it won't be.

PRS's are kind of for pretentious people haha. They are completely a work of art though, but so tacky looking in my opinion. Paul is kind of way to full of himself as well but it is what it is. If I were to buy a guitar now it'd be a Fender or a EBMM!

I know for a fact that car companies do work with each other because I saw what was left of a project that several of them put money and work hours into. It was at a plant outside of Detroit it was a powder coat painting project that was never used and the machinery is still there if they have not knocked the building down. I wish that some of these guitar companies would invest some of there lower end guitars in states hit hard like OH, WV, and other states instead of China and Korea. There are places where the price of living is low so you would not have to pay workers like where this company is located. Good skilled workers need these jobs where unenployment along with drug use is high do to no hope. Now I know why MusicMan guitars cost so much not the most low tax and cost of living area in America. The employees are happy and are very skilled Rob are any of your guitars made in the UK like your high end stuff?

This is so dangerous. It's like if you ever go to a winery, they don't just start with "Hey, buy some wine!" They show you around, they show you how it's all done, they tell you why they love doing what they do, and by the end of it you just want to buy the wine. Family run guitar company factory tours are like crack. If you hadn't considered an Ernie Ball before today, you'll be having a look next time you're in a guitar shop.

When Sterling was talking about his dad I got choked up several time. Losing my Dad in August was tough, he was my biggest fan and supporter. I would like to Thank Mr Sterling and the whole staff. over all the years I've played . I never owned a maple fretboard guitar. when I decided it was time, I found a sterling sub series. before this guitar I was one of those people who was convinced you couldn't buy a quality guitar for 250 bucks. for me a guitar is an extension of a musicians soul. I believe this concept is also felt by the people responsible for making the guitar I now own. Thank you each and everyone of ya. it is obvious to me that Pride in what you do is coursing through the veins of this company. if you read this and are looking for your next guitar , you owe it to yourself to see what this company can offer you.

Awesome. I watched twice and probably will again soon... I can’t say that for most movies made for KZbin.... I felt like I was brought along for the trip. Thank you... great movie... God bless Chapman guitars and the Ball FAMILY.

Hi Rob, What i find amaising about this video is that it's not just a factory tour. You actually take the time to talk about the people, their culture, their history... You make us love them ! What is even more amaising is that you build guitars yourself. And promoting other people's company is OK with you. You nailed it dude. Avi

it is awesome to see how fair and open-minded are the guys from Ernie Ball and Chapman Guitars too. One of the best videos lately and it is so obvious that you enjoyed this experience!

GOOD LORD! I had to stand up, yell and give applause to Music Man! A living wage company in the U.S. of A!!! BRAVO! AWESOME! MIND-BLOWING!. I have to buy Music Man guitars now. Sorry PRS. I'm done. Thank you Music Man! Thank you Sterling and Chappers. That's the best ending to any Chappers video yet - dust plumes of a Challenger!

Ah, Rob. Just amazing stuff, mate. I'm a bit gobsmacked at the moment, to be honest. Okay... deep breaths... my favorite segment had to be the Deep Trouble in Little China T-shirt. So many layers of EPIC!

Came home after a shit day of everything going wrong to family and surrounding houses shouting about some millionaire pansies in pyjamas kicking a plastic sphere around a field in Russia... I didn't know it, but this is exactly what I needed. Rob, Dave, I love you guys.
