A new series called Fridge Clean Fridays to go along with Make IT Wednesday would be great. You can show what you would make with whatever is in your fridge. Or a Meal Prep Monday where you show a dish you can make for the week

I knew how to boil eggs then I moved to Calgary, 🇨🇦 and had to learn all over again how to cook eggs and pasta, altitude makes a huge distance. Then moved to Ottawa and had to remember how I did it before Calgary. Love the recipe.

Well, tonight I made this dish, and what a winner winner chicken dinner it was with the whole family!! I found the Japanese curry cubes at the supermarket- so much more flavourful than the standard Keens brand but there’s a time and place for that too. Expanding my horizons, Marion! Thanks!

I am so going to make this!! it looks amazing. Do you have any recipes that feature been shoots? I find I use them once and the remaining stays in the fridge unused until it goes yuck and has to be thrown out.. usually only after a couple of days. I know you can use them in salads, which is what I use them for, but is there anything else I can make
@justinc61352 жыл бұрын
This was really good / worked out well - however found it incredibly salty with the chicken stock + 9 cubes for the curry.
@klumlock2 жыл бұрын
I thought that might happen so I used 2 fewer cubes than she called for and it turned out really tasty! I don't think the 2 extra cubes are necessary for great flavor 👍

That recipe looks like a pearler! Question for you: what’s the difference between the taste of ‘normal’ curry and Japanese curry?
@aimeevang31452 жыл бұрын
I think you'd have define "normal" curry bc there's Thai curries and then there's Indian curries and I'm sure many others the world over. I know Japanese curry is made with a roux base whereas I don't think the other curries are. Also, from my experience, Japanese curries are probably the most mild in flavor (though not lacking in any sense, still very yummy).

REQUEST:Hi Marion, My partner is vego and I am not. Can you offer a Wednesday Night dish where there is an easy tofu/meat substitute but good flavour for both! I find that the meat dish always add a flavour richness profile that is often lost in the vego substitute. Feel free to make it spicy!
