From what I have seen in your videos, I really like the way you have your truck set up. I am currently doing research in preparation for a business plan for a business similar to yours, but in a smaller market. Would you be willing to share the specs on your truck (year, make, model, engine, etc) and a rough estimate of what it costs per mile and/or day to run the truck (fuel, maintenance, repairs, etc.). Any other advice you would be willing to share would be appreciated.

Great setup, love the channel. I bought the same little scope. I wish in a future video you could go over how to properly use it, I like it but the instructions it comes with are 💩. Great value though.

I was literally looking at a tool pouch like that today. Lol Was a Klein version. Came to same conclusion I wanted something a little bigger. I have the pack out backpack, it’s good but digging inside it sucks and slows me down. I have one of those tote style with the handle runs across the top middle I use for a hand tool go bag, might get another for diag stuff. Another great video thanks!!

Thanks for the tour! Are you doing any repairs or just the diagnostics? Do you take on any work besides diagnostics, or are you able to stay busy enough with just that? I know you said you mainly work for shops. How did you get started doing that? Word of mouth, advertising, or? Sorry for the questions. I would like to do something similar in my area one day.

I am only doing diagnostics; if it is a wiring issue and I can easily repair it, then I usually just repair it. My business started purely from word of mouth and by mistake, lol. Before this, I was doing regular mobile mechanics, and a few shops started hiring me to diagnose, and it just merged into full-time diagnosis.

What do you typically use the scope for and what are its limitations for auto diagnostics? I bought it, but my lack of experience has me never using it.

I mainly use it for network diagnosis, just to see the waveform, but I don't need that many details. It's also great to see if you have an ignition signal, a wheel speed sensor, etc. I wouldn't use it for Cam and Crank or in cylinder because details are very important for those.

Help 17 ford escape 1.5 can't get car to learn cam crank runs fine p1336, is this a dealer only, I have autel, zuessnapon, matco, think car none will go thru the process, won't count down n complete

Looking up the code P1336, it says it's for an erratic crankshaft signal. I would guess that's why you can't complete the relearn. I would scope the signal wire from the crank sensor and see what it looks like.
