Fun fact! The twins had to slow way down while performing the choreography for the fight. Partly because they're actually incredibly fast martial artists, partly because Keanu is older and a bit slower, and partly because he was tired after a long stretch of filming.

In the fight in the glass rooms, John Wick was actually moving a lot slower there, showing some tiredness, which is good attention to detail. Had John Wick been not tired at all and ready, he would've just breezed through all of them in there I think.

@@willstar1238 Here's the thing. He actually wasnt "acting" to fight slowly. This was Keanu doing his best to hold up with the guys from "The Raid" and Dacascos. He looks incredible against "normal" fighters and stuntmen. But those guys actually even slowed their moves down during shooting. The effect was exactly what you sad. It just wasnt attention to detail. Just Keanu reaching his limit! 😉

Googled - For those wondering, John Wick ended boasting approximately 91 deaths (yes, sadly, that includes the puppy), with Keanu Reeves' character obviously being responsible for most of the casualties. Around 119 met their demises in John Wick: Chapter 2, and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum went even further with 167 deaths.

I mean, the first film was about getting revenge for his dog, I don't think John wick series was ever built on complex stories. It's a pretext for the insane action and it's always been. I really liked the diversity in fights sequence in this one, I just found the heavy armor fight lasted a bit too long, but besides that the movie was fantastic

This series was so awesome. I'm really bummed that Matrix Resurrection did not utilize Chad for the stunt choreographer and kept him in a bit role as "Tiffany's" fake husband. Imagine how much better the fights would have been. Side note, I'd love to see you two cover Kung Fury. A short 30ish minute spoof film on 80s/90s tropes, available for free on YT.

Gotta give credit where credit is due; Halle trained not only weapons training, she also worked with the dogs for months to gain the bond that she had. The twins fighting against Keanu are Indonesians. They acted in the Raid movies and they are legit martial artists. John Wick 4 is gonna even more over the top especially when you have Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada and Scott Adkins are also gonna be in it. Keanu vs Donnie is gonna be a treat!

you should watch honest trailers where the director(s) of the John Wick movies comment on stuff. They actually did a lot of research to figure out if it would be possible in real life. And it's so funny to watch these crazy movies and then hear Jen yell at Holden to "stop it" throughout.. lol really added to the enjoyment of the watch! As an Australian young man myself I loved the John Wick film franchise because it is so awesome, so badass, so entertaining, so fascinating, so intense, and so wild & my favourite one was the first film. Poor John he was orphaned when he was a boy, he lost his childhood joy by being indoctrinated to be trained as a ruthless assassin plus hitman for different criminal organizations, he lost his beloved wife Helen to terminal illness, his first dog Daisy was killed, his friend Harry was killed, his friend Marcus was murdered, his cool vintage car wrecked, his beautiful house blown up, his continental hotel privileges lost, his continental allies turn against him, he lost his reputation, he lost his safety, he lost his ring-finger, & he had to give up his deceased wife’s wedding ring to the Elder of the High Table, what is he going to lose next? absolutely depressing & painful. This poor tough man can’t even a catch a break. The only time he caught a break when he married his wife Helen for five years until she sadly passed away. He lost mostly everything positive in his life. Any normal human being around the world would have committed suicide if they experience those awful tragedies in their life. Like seriously his life is literally a never-ending nightmare absolutely devastating. Life is full of ongoing suffering like seriously it is so not fair that we humans have to experience depressing chapters in our lives, but I guess that is the price of being born alive into this sad wicked world.

Angelica Huston was Morticia Addams in the Addams Family movies, the best version of those movies with Raul Julia with Christopher Lloyd playing uncle Fester. The bold actor is Mark Dacascos, famous martial artist actor from the 90's who played Erik Draven "The Crow" on "The Crow" TV Series back when he had long hair. Interesting fact because of the wide shots Halle Berry actually had to be part of the dog training to command the 5 Belgian Melinois used for filming. She couldn’t keep the dogs after filming, but she now has 2 trained attack labradoodles. The dogs were not hurt in filming, and neither were the 100 feral cats on on the island they filmed at that had to be captured every night and released in the next day.

Halle Barry’s dogs are Belgian Malinois. Quite common in the military. We use them in the Australian army mainly due to the fact that they do the same things german Shepard do but with less health problems and are quicker to train.
