Tzeentch and Nurgle always had a more yin-yang relationship rather than a true rivalry. Tzeentch is change and ambition, Nurgle is stagnation and contentment. Some accounts state that Tzeentch is older, but I thought of them as fraternal twins, Tzeentch initially being more powerful at first, but Nurgle was still present, just weaker at the time compared to his 'brother'. Generally speaking Slaanesh is generally distrusted by the other three, and Khorne fights everyone.

However, trickery to the point where you're not longer fighting, being so enduring that you forsake battle as nothing can touch you and reveling in the bloodshed so much that you forsake glorious combat for it and turn to butcher the weak are all opposed to him. With Nurgle, it's all about pestilence, endurance and stagnation; Taking joy in anything life throws your way, discovering new applications for plagues and defensive warfare are all good. Meanwhile, pursuing pleasures, warfare or improvements at the detriment of your passivity are all against him. For Slaanesh, anyone who takes pleasure in what they do; Be it outsmarting their enemies, defeating a powerful foe or concocting some new plague, they all feed him. However, being lost to the madness of bloodshed, becoming so stagnant that you no longer feel anything or becoming so coldly calculating that you shut your emotions out are all opposed to him. And Tzennch you can figure out from the above. The point is, none of the four hate each other any more than the others, as they are all part of an interconnected square; Anything contrary to this can be chalked up to writer's bias.

Tzeentch and Nurgle have a very technical rivalry. They occupy opposing spheres, but they don't really have any personal beef. Kinda like the opposite of Khorne and Slaanesh's rivalry. There's absolutely nothing about their spheres that inherently can't coexist, it's entirely personal and about style.

Immediate like as soon as Nurgle mentioned Isha and a loving family. Was half expecting her to appear to watch her daughter's performance, but seeing Nurgle being a proud father brings a warm feeling inside, as does laughs at realizing he's a match for Vulkan Friendship. I love how Nana's song speaks of spreading joy and experiencing new sensations, coming from Nurgle symbolizing not merely decay and rot of life, but the eventual rebirth and flourishing life that comes from death, to overcome stagnation and continue to grow. Nurgle's plagues may cull the weak, but those who endure grow stronger from it. And from the preview for our final Idol's song, I can tell I'm going to enjoy it if it has some Jazz tones to it
