I never read them, but apparently he was supposed to be like 6'4 and super buff, use Jason Momoa as a comparison. They were planning on recasting him like Victoria eventually would be. So during that summer, he worked out for that role and got to keep it. They didn’t force him, he chose to bulk up to keep the role.
