It’s great! Chewy Flavorful milk mochi Definitely try it if you like creamy chewy flavours/texture (Do not store it in the fridge i recommend eating it in a day otherwise it gets a starchy pasty consistency and dries up :(

In the Philippines we also have a sweet treat made out of milk, it's basically just mixing condensed milk into the powdered milk and than coating it in white sugar(it needs to be coated in the white sugar or else it will be very sticky)

I had the same problem then i saw that the most important thing in making mochi is that you need GLUTINOUS rice flower not simple rice flower

I think you need to « knead » the batter with the spoon for longer than maybe shown in this video. If I’m not mistaken that is what makes it so elastic. However it is easy to panic when it looks like it’s starting to stick more and more to the pan.
