I wonder how many other cars this can be replaced so quickly and for so little bucks. Two things I would recommend though. Drain the fuel lines by starting the car and pulling the fuse and clean around the cover plate before removing it to prevent foreign junk from falling into the tank.

I cant get the one side connector off inside the tank on the underside of the white cover , i see that you just pulled the whole pump out and left it attached, does the pump just sit in that plastic thing?

I went with the $21 option 3 years ago and now I am putting a Bosch pump in it after I had to have it towed home.

So the chinese slave that made this piece of crap pump didn't include assembly instructions and none of the parts seem to fit together. God I hate DIY crap.
