I’m new to Bass fishing as I’ve been a trout fly fishermen my whole life. I recently had a friend bring me to a local pond here in Phoenix AZ and I used his setup and caught a big ole largemouth on a buzz bait and it has me absolutely hooked!!! Mr. B Lat. I have been having a hard time catching bass. I caught all kinds of other fish with ease but so far just two bass. One Small mouth and one large mouth bass. But I'm learning from you, and I know without the things you taught us I would have never caught the two bass I've landed this far. You can’t go wrong with the lime and brown rock, crawler, crank bait, shaky head, throwing chartreuse, and green, or black and blue trick worm, and either a chatter bait or white and chartreuse Spiderbait. Those are the dates that work at Westpoint Lake.

Be at, I’m a local tournament fishing that fish Westpoint, at least two or three times a year via tournament. Ditches and brush piles are where are you going to make your living. Westpoint is a bear Bank lake, unless you run into a fallen tree!

60 to 19 pounds is very possible at Westpoint Lake. The key is fishing man-made brush piles. It is also possible to fish all day for five fish and half between 5 to 7 pounds.
