Just so everyone knows, You can use JL or gladiator wheels on a JK. I bought new lug nuts from the lug nut guys specifically made to fit JL wheels on JK lugs when I bought Gladiator take offs. They are larger than JK stock lugs and catch all of the rim angle. Look nice and are much safer….

No eye protection? are Gladiator wheels safe to use with a JK? even though they fit I was the understanding that is not a recommended setup .....

We've put many miles on them this way without any issues. On the JL/JT wheel, the lug nut seats have a larger bore, so they will sit down deeper. Just make sure that you lug nut will seat correctly.

I assume those are stock wheels with stock backspacing? I ask as I intend to install a teraflex leveling kit on my 2016 JKU and use the stock wheels to install BFG KO2's in 285/70/17 and wanna make sure I'll have room w/o spacers or new wheels with more backspacing which would run me upwards of $600 for 5 new wheels and more if I get new sensors! Thoughts?

Those are stock JT Gladiator Rubicon wheels. We haven't seen any issues with that set-up in the few months Breann has been running them.

Correct. Briann had no tire rubbing with those stock JT Rubicon 285/70R17s.

Is a wheel alignment needed after a leveling kit is installed?

Yes, we removed the air dam and didn't notice any difference. If you are going to go off road, remove it before nature does.
