The Hoonitruck looks so sick, sorry to say that Nissan body doesn't keep up with it, not even close. Way more toy-ish looking and the light buckets with the body painted.... what was Team Associated thinking? To be fair they could just glue them in at factory, or not include them at all, but that's a joke. At least they made the battery tray bigger, the shorty version of the Hoonitruck is so annoying. Oh well get an brushless system in it and send it! That body is not worth preserving, but it can be put to good use for something silly 😁

I'd love if someone made a video on this car and explain how to gear it properly, I got a brushless Spektrum system in mine but I don't understand the gearing with the idle gear etc 😢 I can only get like 45mph in a system that does 65mph + in an Arrma vendetta (100A ESC/ 3900kv motor)

I've had a project half done and shit for about 6months where I remove it entirely. The idler and pinion are very close in size so it doesn't affect the gearing/speed much at all. If I recall, it's almost a 1:1ish. It really acts as a spacer due to the design of the 2 components to mesh

@@disciplinerc put it up! There must be something wrong with mine then, I'm running a 32T pinion, Front and Center diff with the Spool in the rear, the drivetrain feels a little too tight like it won't roll very far at all. None of my other cars feel like that so 🤷. Thanks for the replay though
