My youngest is 22 years old. When she was born there was no consideration for pelvic health postpartum. As a matter of fact I never even heard the word. Now that I am in a new hormone phase of life old ‘injuries’ are coming back to haunt me. I am so grateful for your generation shining a light of important women’s health issues and providing help. I’ll be doing this work out as part of my pelvic physio. Thanks again, keep crushing it!

Once we have given birth, we are always post partum, and we wouldn't want to loose that, right? What a journey 🤩 I am a 45 years old Swedish mother of four kids- 5, 12, 23 and 25 years old. I totally loved this workout, and I thank strength training for my progress 🙏 When my youngest was 1 year old I did workouts like these with no weights or 2-5 pounds dumbbells, and push ups on my knees. I literally thought I would never do push ups on my toes! Today I used a set of 18 pound dumbbells, and did all the pushups on my toes. Thanks for all your amazing, fun and free workouts Lindsey! 🙏❤

3,5 years postpartum with still diastasis recti I am finally taking it seriously and working out more often. I feel just after a pregnancy it is so hard to work out. Especially this first 3 years when the kid needs so much attention and for a new mum ... Wanting to do everything perfect until you realise it's not possible and we need to make ourselves the priority and our health otherwise we cannot take care of others. So I think I'm interested in them everything all the complex exercises this one wasn't my favorite but I did like some of it and other videos you have I like the inner thigh one and Superman's in the back exercises do you have some glutes I guess I'm more focused on the errors of my own body so thank you so much for the free videos and your effort to do that and you look amazing as a mom. Is 3 days per week of this workout enough? Also do i have to do cardio or will this be enough? I don't want to look bulky.

It all depends on your current fitness routine and goals. I suggest 2-3 strength training workouts per week and 1-2 HIIT workouts per week. I'd add this workout to your workout routine once a week (as a STRENGTH workout). A well-rounded fitness plan will include a variety of workouts! Can I do this workout daily? Or do I have to switch it up? I’m working on losing my last like 5 lbs of “baby weight.” I’m a yr postpartum. I’ve lost like 15 lbs so far simply doing walking workouts and eating better (I’m also still breastfeeding so that helps). I’m ready to tone up and heal my diastasis recti now.

I personally prefer a split training program (legs on Monday, upper body on Tuesday, etc.) and would recommend a full body strength workout like this 1-2 times a week!

This is fab but you can definitely modify down more if you have dr. Some of these moves could still be intense without that.

If you’ve been cleared for exercise, this is a good low impact option to try. Follow the modifier as needed!

Ok so am 1 year postpartum and av been trying to rebuild my core cos I have DR and I still have like a finger gap, is this workout ok for me especially the pushups

Hi! Yes, all of the core exercises in this workout are safe for Diastasis Recti. That said, you should always avoid any kind of movement that causes coning or doming of the core. You might have to modify core work by reducing range of motion. I’m so happy you found your way here!! You'll see Katelyn in this one offering beginner/postpartum modifications - she is 3 months post-baby in this workout! It's a great postpartum option, but I always recommend talking to your doctor or midwife to be sure you're cleared for exercise!
