Me: started making overnight oats because otherwise I can't be bothered to eat in the morning. Noah: So first you pull out a hand-crank machine...

The hubby and I eat oatmeal practically everyday for breakfast. It makes a lot of sense to toast the oats before adding the water. So gonna try that and also adding the butter while it is cooking as well as before eating. Thanks for the 411.

Despite my loving your videos, you and I are on opposite ends of the cooking spectrum. I buy the Bob's Red Mill instant oatmeal in a cup and put hot water in it, cover for five minutes, then eat. If I make it at home, I'll sprinkle in cinnamon. At work, just plain.

I’ve done that too! But I find myself up with Sierra now so we’re just hanging out anyway

I never really thought about making oats right from the groats (fun sentence). I eat oatmeal 2-3 times a week, might be fun to try. How long did it take to cook them to soft enough to eat?

Great! 😡I LOVE oats - so now I have to go find groats and an mill to have a good breakfast. If your advise wasn't so good I would boycott the channel.
