I finally overcame my two year skunk. Caught probably 8 trout and was able to make your trout and mushroom taco recipe. It was fantastic! Keep up the good work!

Whenever you're stung by the sting nettle and its unbearable what you can do is rub your nasal discharge on the area and it'll bring you much relief. Its gross but incase there isnt the emergency care around you can do that.

That conk mushroom you found looked to be an artist conk. You can draw on the bottom of it and make some pretty cool artwork with them. They’re also edible when boiled in tea if those were in fact artist conks. Beautiful video as always mate, thanks for sharing!

I started off my fishing season this year catching some trout, one salmon and just caught a huge northern pike! Love watching these solo survival videos. It’s awesome seeing you live off the land! Keep uploading great videos! Come to Maine and I’ll show you some good trout holes!

The forest is still very good....still quite well preserved... A very beautiful lake .... suitable for fishing spots for fishing mania ... or survival ... Beautiful location for camping...

No fire rings, no area cleaning. That is a really good way to start a forest fire if the wind starts blowing.

I live here in Michigan now and have recently got on some steelhead and salmon that come up river to spawn from Lake Michigan and it is a blast! I still visit the sieras every summer because of the beauty. It would be really cool to see some videos possibly in the desolation wilderness around Lake Tahoe that would be really cool to see!🏔

I just love you Leif. You make us fall in n love with our beautiful country in ways no one else has. You do it with enthusiasm and so much joy. I also learn a lot. The only thing is I hate is I’m not literally experiencing it myself in those remote places. Although , I do what you do in Appalachia NC. I just don’t record or document it. My kayak and poles never leave my truck in warmer weather.

Lovely stuff man. Reminds me of my fishing skills before I bought a rod 😂 I always found fresh bendy sticks like willow or mountain Ash worked best. Definitely keep that trout carcass, makes great Pike, Wel'scatfish, Zander and even ferox trout bait here in Europe. So it will probably work for some American predators. Beautiful photography and editing. I've rubbed bracken and and sword ferns on nettle stings and it relieved the pain and itching. They conveniently grow in the same area where nettles are found.
