It's everybody's favorite time of the month! We're watching TLC's "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" and I'm ruining the show with educational commentary. Imagine going to your last appointment before a hysterectomy for endometriosis and being told you have a tumor...but then the tumor has a heartbeat and it's a pants-on-fire emergency! This episode includes one of my favorite happenings of us watching this series together. 😂 (Do I say that every episode?)

This is really fascinating! In most people catamenial epistaxis (nose bleeds near menses) is due to hormonal changes, but there are rare instances of nasal endometriosis causing it as well!!

@@MamaDoctorJones worse, I had a patient who had a pneumothorax from endometriosis- four times before it was confirmed (even though I as a simple GP suggested there might be a causation after the second instance) - the third surgeon missed it despite being told because even though the lung usually collapses cranial, the endometriosis is usually directly at the diaphragm - so caudal.

The only way my OBGYN was able to diagnose me with it without having surgery is that my belly button started bleeding. I had to basically go home from school on my first day of my period every time because the pain was so debilitating and because it made me vomit. They still don’t want to do surgery on me because I am young (I am 24).

Reminds me of that one mystery diagnosis episode where this woman would get extreme bone pain in her femur to the point where it was completely debilitating, and had some other symptoms too, turns out the endo had migrated to her bone marrow and every time she had her period her bones would bleed.

They told my mom she had a tumor. They sent her to an oncologist. She went in and the dr asked her what her symptoms were. My mom said “I thought I was pregnant, but they said I’m not and it’s a tumor.” The dr did a physical exam and the baby moved. He said “I’ll say you’re pregnant.” One month or so later I was born. This was in 1976. For years my siblings nicknamed me “tumor”.

I’m a 24-year-old woman with cerebral palsy, and I just want to thank you for how kind you were in this video. I was about ready to start screaming at the TV, both for victim-blaming the mother, but also for portraying cerebral palsy as some horrible disease. Don’t get me wrong, it can be hard. I use a wheelchair and a lot of the world is inaccessible. But to any parents or kids with CP who are reading this most of the hardship comes because the world is not made for people of all abilities to thrive and people can be jerks. if we take the time to really give people the support that they need, life can be really beautiful, even if it looks different. MDJ, if you would ever be interested in interviewing someone about their experiences with a physical disability and reproductive health care, I have lots of stories that I feel could be beneficial .

As someone who has serious disabilities I'd say that so many problems come from a lack of understanding and fear- that makes people behave like jerks in reaction. Oh for an educated world sigh... And tell your stories! That'd be a great start 😊💜

YES!! As someone with Cerebral Palsy in a wheelchair myself, I was just like, WHAT?! AND THEN THE BABY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE CEREBRAL PALSY?? I was born at 30 weeks, which likely resulted in the brain damage that caused my CP. My mom had two really difficult pregnancies (a stillbirth at 8months a year before I was due), but I have NEVER heard of lack of prenatal care being related to brain damage...

Wasn't it last video I said "I wish they'd show something other than a "normal" outcome"? I TAKE IT BACK, i TAKE IT BACK!!! I have cerebral palsy (likely due to premature birth and a prolapsed cord) and seeing my disability described as parents' "worst fear", and then turned around in a "gotcha" moment where it's like "SURPRISE! SHE DOESN'T ACTUALLY HAVE CP!" makes me feel actually physically ill. My life is not a bogeyman. MDJ, good on you for pointing out the inaccuracy (for those of you who don't know, CP is caused by brain damage before or shortly after birth) and emphasizing that you can still live a very full, happy life with CP. I'm 30 years old, and while having CP can be difficult at times, especially with the lack of knowledge among the medical profession about adults with CP, it is a fundamental part of who I am. If you ever want someone on the channel to talk about CP, especially to clear up some of the misconceptions in this awful IDKIWP episode...hit me up! :)

I don't personally know anyone with CP, but even I was confused at that part - why were they acting like it was some fatal condition? As far as I know, CP generally just affects mobility and sometimes speech and many people with the condition live fairly "normal" lives. My main source of knowledge about CP is the comedian Rosie Jones, so I accept that my perception may not be 100% medically accurate. However, their reaction was definitely a bit melodramatic.

Exactly! My father had a first cousin born with CP in the 1940s. She has had a full and productive normal life. She was a twin that had her brother’s cord wrapped around her neck at birth. He was born first and it deprived her of oxygen as the cord was pulled tighter as he was born. She married. She had 3 healthy children. I met her when I was 10. After that she was always a hero of mine.

Thank you for speaking from the pov of someone with CP specibically. It hurt me as a person blind since very young, even though I understand a parent doesn't want their child to have to deal with the struggles. My parents tell me they're response to my diagnosis was fear and anger, mostly because it was a gut reaction to something new and also because they knew it would alter my life in ways they didn't yet understand. But they never thought I was less or a burden and reactions as extreme as this portrays are a bit hard to see.

Hey if you are prone to gallbladder attacks you might want to get that looked at. I had the worst pain when I used to have gallbladder attacks and one attack was so bad I actually went to the ER and was told I was 72 hours away from total liver failure due to a blocked bile duct caused by my bad gallbladder which had to be removed immediately. Gallbladder pain is the absolute worst.

@@SavaFiend You are spot on - always wise to get it checked as it is very risky if you get a blockage! I too had severe attacks when I was only 22 years old and turned out I had a large stone blocking the cystic duct from my gall bladder. It's horrid pain!

I'm decidedly *not* pregnant and it has also been about 36 weeks since my last period. My partner and I are actively trying to create life, but it will not be carried in my body, so I don't know why it keeps occuring to me that I might be finally getting pregnant. I just recalled something that a friend of my sister said once. She didn't have as long of a "I didn't know I was pregnant" moment, think she got like halfway before they noticed. But regardless, her mother was on her case about the pre-natal care she'd missed, and this still makes me laugh, but she said to her mom with a straight face "It's not my fault the little f-er didn't let me know it was in there". Her mom glared at me so hard during a bbq when I was told this story, because I was in tears, on the grass, laughing so much I got both hiccups and a cramp 😂

I'm not saying don't get prenatal care, but people act like prenatal care is an end all be all and if you miss it bad things are going to happen, which is not true. Most pregnancies will be perfectly fine, with and without prenatal care. The story is hilarious but the mother getting on her case is just awful.

All I did was take foliate, stop eating few foods and made sure I didn't drink not that I did very often anyway, then later take iron basically I wouldn't have change much but I knew because my child was planned

In the "you never know" vein.... We have a famous family story about my great grandmother (born in 1895). In her late 30s (so it would have been the 1930s) she made an appointment with her doctor because she was pretty certain she was pregnant. The doctor told her she's "too old to be pregnant" and it's just a tumor. She got on the bus to go home felt something odd, had a flash of insight, got off at the next stop, marched back to the doctor's office and said "The tumor just MOVED!" She was incensed. Yeah, that was my Great Uncle.

Idk when exactly she realized she was pregnant, but it must've been late in the pregnancy because family story goes, when she was born, they still hadn't thought of a name so my great grandmother ended up being named Augusta, after her brother Auguste They also made another brother her godfather, as he was 25 years older than her.

You trying to explain, essentially, 'don't be ableist' is exactly how hard it is to explain. Of course if you hear as a parent your child might have a disability, you're relieved when you hear they don't. But having a disability doesn't make us 'lesser' or 'broken', and with the right accommodation there are often still a ton of possibilities. (Getting those accommodations is a bit of a problem usually, but if they WERE there, there would often still be a ton of possibilities).

Exactly! Everyone needs accommodations. Some accommodations are normalized (a car/transportation to get to work, phone for communication, clothes to protect from elements, etc) and other accommodations are stigmatized by institutionalized ableism... like TTY, mobility devices, communication devices, etc. I get so angry with people who tell me "you are so high functioning, I didn't realize you were " because they have completely missed the entire point!

@@THandP_org I’m autistic and get called “high functioning” sometimes and it pisses me off because they are only seeing a small snapshot of my life and don’t see the struggles I have or how much therapy and work it took for me to get where I am (in a neurodiversity affirming way, being comfortable with my autistic self, gaining confidence etc, NOT learning eye contact or other bullshit neurotypical expectations). I’m learning Australian sign language and my Deaf teacher taught us last week how 95% of Deaf babies are born to hearing parents and majority of doctors still push for medical interventions and advise AGAINST sign language, say the child will never get anywhere in life etc. It’s awful.

A cousin of mine had polio, and was told she could never have children. She and her fiancé thought GREAT no need to wait for the wedding! She got pregnant, and the doctors told her that it would take a miracle to carry the baby to term. Pregnancy and birth went just fine, but she was told by the doctor that this was absolutely a one-off, so not to expect to get lucky again... Three more babies later, she told the doctor she was done with miracles, and to please tie her tubes.

Umm......so my mom got pregnant 8 months after her tubes got tied.... It was an ectopic pregnancy and wasn't carried to term.....she told them to just remove her tubes....13 years later, she found out that they GREW BACK and she was indeed pregnant at 34....

2 things I want to say 1) my cousin was diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS after her son was born, she had an ovary removed, she was told she was basically infertile and didn't use any birth control after that. Cut to several years later, even after taking the morning after pill she got pregnant again, and then again, and then again! She has 4 kids in total. 2) I had a friend in high school who had cerebral palsy, when he was born his parents were told he might never walk and the way I knew him was because we ran track and cross country together. People are pretty amazing and can overcome the odds. That's all! Love these videos!

Right. 100%. There is more than one situation where the morning after pill (I have taken it twice myself and been lucky not to take it too late) is basically useless, and if you are still ovulating on the one ovary you could easily be more than fertile. Honestly, they should only tell patients who have a uterus and ovar(ies) and no infection scarring on their tubes that they MAY have fertility problems and if they want to try to have a baby only then they will find out whether that is the case and to what degree. This reminds me that when my uncle had a heart transplant, the average life expectancy after was 7 years. He made it nearly 20 and he also had skin cancer, which never metasticized. The heart was in good condition when he died, but he had been on the anti rejection meds so long his kidneys were failing and causing the other organs to fail. Many people probably hardly had much more life expectancy in any case who had transplants because many heart problems are associated with age, sedentary lifestyles. Obviously, statistics can only have so much bearing on you as an individual. My uncle was relatively young because we have a heart condition in my family that dilates the aorta (he was in his 30s) and it was not a continuous issue that may worsen again like congestive heart failure due to some chronic problem. It won't dilate the aorta again I think because it is not his tissue although it was his heart now. Also, his donor was only 18 years old and got into an accident, that is an almost impossibly young heart. He was really sick when he got his heart, not expected to make it another day, resuscitated several times, came out of surgery in a coma, but once he got it he was good as new. He never seemed sick when I knew him, even on (I think even daily) dialysis before the end of his life, he was always very fit and jovial. I imagine knowing exactly how lucky he was to be alive helped too. Thank you for the reminder that my loss was also such a blessing. He asked everyone to wear bright colors to the celebration of his life, where everyone was obviously still crying, but black was not allowed. It was hard to see him in the hospital in pain, though.

She was infertile. Okay, so people get this definition wrong ALL the time. Infertile doesn't mean you can't have kids. It means it is difficult to have kids. I know someone who's infertile, but has gotten pregnant 12 times. She's lost all of them. She's now adopted though.

@@B.H.56 What stock footage that perfectly fits the exact scene that they're trying to portray with all the right actors in? The shots in Call the Midwife are far too complex and sometimes specific for stock footage. For example, they often show particular birth defects or complications and unusual births like being born in the amniotic sack or in an awkward position. Even if for the actual head crowning, baby being born part they somehow found relevant stock footage, they'd still need to film with a baby or doll for the post birth scenes where other actors need to interact with them.

I had the opposite of an “I didn’t know I was pregnant” experience lol. When I was 18 I had severe bloating and constipation caused by IBS, and went into the hospital because I was in unbearable pain. The lady at the front asked me how many weeks I was, and I told her I wasn’t pregnant. She told me “well, you’re in for a shock” and sent us on our way. At ER triage, 2 nurses and a doctor told me I was on the wrong side of the hospital and tried to direct me to OB. They didn’t believe me until my urine sample came back negative. I get where they were coming from, but that was a tough night.

Lol I swear medical professionals are so annoying sometimes. In my early twenties I ended up in the ER twice because of stomach issues and both times they asked if I could be pregnant. A firm "No" was my answer both times but they still waited for the pregnancy test results. I know it's procedure but come on! I had never had sex, it really was impossible for me to be pregnant!!!!!

Thank you for sharing what you did about cerebral palsy. An unhealthy baby is still a blessing. Health is a separate blessing not everyone gets. My baby girl had cerebral palsy, most likely from not breathing during her first 5 minutes of life. Her cerebral palsy limited her ability to use ASL; her deafness with the CP made communication an issue. Other medical issues took her from us too soon. While she was here, she was a happy little girl full of joy and love.

Nah because it’s horrible advise to someone who has actually been in this situation. I say this as someone who was around someone who hid her pregnancy from everyone including the boyfriend, baby’s father, doctor, athletic trainer…everyone. I regret so much and I don’t even talk to that girl anymore but it haunts me to remember spotting her for max lifting at 8 months. One slip up from me and the kid wouldn’t have made it and I pushed her to go further than she thought she could go.

And me being ignorant of the situation does not change how much it haunts me and saying “you do your best with what you know” is honestly insulting. Because we SHOULD have known better. We SHOULD a have put it together because in hindsight it was obvious. Our inability to realize even cost people their jobs; that may sound minor now but to lose the track coach and athletic training staff mid year. They are in a better place now but that’s also something that happened. Like I said you can say that stuff all year day but until you are in that situation just shut up you aren’t helping.

My mother has had mild cerebral palsy since her traumatic birth. She has lived an amazing fulfilling life full of love. Her complications did nothing to deter her from having the life she wanted. Shes also one of the smartest people I know ;)

A few years ago I was rushed into emergency surgery for a cyst on my ovary and was diagnosed with endo. After a few surgeries my OBGYN told me “there’s a lot of scar tissue, you might be one of those few people who have difficulty having a baby. The chances of you falling pregnant naturally is very low. Give it a try for 6 months and then we can look at other options.” Six months later I rock up at the appointment six months pregnant 🎉 Now I’m pregnant with my second boy ❤

I don't know the lady, but I overheard a pregnant mom at the 5 years old danse class. As she was preparing her own hospital bag - she's 6 weeks away now - she got the news that her sister, who had been complaining of stomach pains recently, showed up at the hospital and gave birth. This is the closest I've ever personally been to a true story of "I didn't know I was pregnant"! Now that lady is happy and kinda mock-annoyed that her sister stole the baby spotlight from her ahaha!

Not so fun fact, about 10 years ago my mom had endometriosis in her lung that caused her lung to collapse every time she started her period. Took months for doctors to figure out what was going on! She no longer has a uterus so no more babies but she had 4 kids without even trying. Endo by no means 100% causes infertility.

My friend went into hospital for a D&C for endometriosis as she and her husband were trying to have a baby. During the surgery they discovered she was already pregnant. They gave her several pregnancy tests beforehand, including one just hours before the surgery. She hadn’t had a period for over 12 months. After the surgery she woke up and they told her that she was pregnant, but also that the chance of the baby surviving was close to zero. The next few months were so scary while they waited anxiously to find out if their (miracle) baby would survive. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy in this January, she had no complications.

I wish you would do a video on the misleading sizes of babies in popular media. A very good friend had called me in tears, she was coming close to her due date and she had seen a movie where the "newborn" was somewhere closer to 6-9 months. She was horrified! It took ALL the baby pictures that were taken of my children within the first few days of birth, and explaining that they were on the larger side of "normal" newborn size. I couldn't help but think of the similarities while explaining to my daughter that she doesn't have to worry about high school kids, cause the people in the shows and movies are in their late 20's to 30's (which was a conversation we had a few days prior to my friend's attack of terror).

My mom has endometriosis in her lungs as well as all over her abdominal cavity. She tried to have surgery to try to help, but they were unable to remove most of it because of where it was located. It took her 6 years and a lot of help to be able to conceive and after I was born, she was told her chances of conceiving again even with help was incredibly small. If she wouldn’t have needed continuous birth control to manage her symptoms, I think my parents would have thrown caution to the wind and not used protection because they wanted to have another child so on the 1 in a million chance it happened, they would have been thrilled. But, they didn’t care how they had another one so they decided adoption was what was best for our family. And it truly was. My sister is an amazing young woman and I can’t imagine our family without her.

Something really similar happened with my mom with me!! She had really bad endo and had been trying unsuccessfully for about 7 years to get pregnant so she opted for a hysterectomy. She went in for her final pre-op exam and turns out I was a little fetus in there! Luckily she was only about 4 months along so there was still time for her to prepare and get pre-natal care. She then got pregnant with my sister 4 years later and wound up being pre-eclampic and needing an emergency c-section.

Thank you for your comment about the loving acceptance of your child's condition. A close friend of mine was pregnant at the same time I was. We were both, ironically, given a high likelihood of Down Syndrome for each of our children. I was devastated and fearful, but my amniocentisis showed chromosomal normality. I was overjoyed. She went through that with me and then a few months later, her high risk also came in. Where we were given a 1 in 15 risk, she was given a 1 in 3. Her child has Down Syndrome. The result is her phenomenal, hilarious, kid who we all love just as much as my kid. Both kids are an absolute joy and her son kicked my son's butt on a whole host of developmental milestones. Also, now 7, he will swear in French (his second language) if you tick him off. 😆😆😆 So, yes. I've learned to celebrate my own child's great health and also learned that all children bring joy.

Thank you so much for advocating for cerebral palsy and disabilities like that! So many doctors still view many disabilities like autism (which isn’t diagnosed at birth though), deafness, blindness, Down’s syndrome and MANY more, as “this child will never talk, never succeed in anything in life etc” and parents hear that and believe it as it came from a doctor. It’s ableist, and then many parents don’t try to teach skills because they believe it’s pointless.

I love what you said about cerebral paulsy! My sister inhaled the amniotic fluid during labor and was born dead. We got extremely lucky that the hospital she was in had the only machine on the entire west coast (still in testing at the time, almost 30 years ago) that could save her life. She has severe cerebral paulsy and is 100% dependent on us for everything, but we all love her to death! She is an absolute light in our lives! My parents take phenomenal care of her, and she is the healthiest one in the family.

Endo patient here! Endo was found on my appendix during my surgery to remove my left ovary due to an endometrioma. Was told chances of conceiving were low but I did get pregnant 3 months after my surgery but it ended in miscarriage. It took 3 years to get pregnant again naturally after saving money for IVF. Currently 15 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby! ❤😊

My CP happened at birth due to placenta previa and a delayed C-section. There are so many misconceptions about CP. I need a new PCP and one candidate refused me a pelvic exam because I have CP. I was wrongly diagnosed with PCOS in 2011 (rampant fatphobia in medical communities). I was told I could never get pregnant without "ovarian drilling". I conducted my s@x life accordingly. I got pregnant 4 times. As of 2018 I have zero signs of PCOS. Turns out the extraordinary high stress of an abusive relationship can cause extreme hair loss and hormonal disruption. I am holding my newborn daughter as I write this. I had pre-eclampsia AFTER giving birth. Twice. One of the reasons my gestational hypertension was so exacerbated was because of the fatphobia of the hospital.

My grandmother had severe endometriosis and get pregnant once at 19 and once at 21 (she then had to spend several years asking doctors for a hysterectomy for the pain, until she found one that didn't push her to wait and see if she wanted more children)

Thank you for speaking up about the cerebral palsy "diagnosis" & how wrong it was. Even casual commentary in a show like this for the outrage/shock value hurts people with disabilities who are out there living incredible lives. My uncle Peter had CP & was one of the most badass people I knew (his favourite joke when people choked after making ableist jokes around him was "My sense of humour is great, it's my sense of balance that sucks"). I actually can't imagine him being the person he was *without* CP. I love you adding the part about people with cerebral palsy being able to lead good lives. I agree. I think the part of them crying in joy that their kid doesn't have CP almost makes it seem like they would have been devastated and almost disappointed about their child if she'd turned out to have CP. CP will cause more challenges, and I know everyone wants health for their kids, but a medical diagnosis shouldn't be a DISAPPOINTENT. Just something to keep in mind, study up on, and navigate through parenthood with.

I once forgot to mark when I had my period on my calendar, and having a terrible memory, I freaked out and thought I was pregnant. I took several tests that were all negative, went to my OBGYN for extra testing and then realized I was not only right on schedule but had just forgotten to write my last one down. I was watching the old film "Look Who's Talking" recently and thinking how wild the opening scenes are (depicting conception, pregnancy and birth from the perspective of the sperm/foetus). Have a cousin diagnosed with CP in late 80s early 90s. His parents were basically told he'd never do anything so his mom made sure he ate, drank, was diapered, and bathed but otherwise ignored. My grandma and I(10) both called BS and did our own research. Shortly after we had him potty trained, diagnosed as deaf, and walking! His speech still isn't great, but he's graduated college at the top of his class, loves to run, mow lawns, and swim. He's the sweetest young man and had my grandma and I not fought for him he'd likely be in a home. He won't be able to live in his own so at some point his siblings will either have to put him in a home or take him in, but what an amazing man he is!

Oh my gosh I feel your rage on the blaming lack of prenatal care for cerebral palsy. One of my cousins had cerebral palsy, there wasn't anything that happened during or after his birth that they could think of to cause it, his disability was severe and he wasn't expected to live past 2 years. He beat all the odds and passed away at 14. He was wheelchair bound his entire life but he could communicate, he could play with his siblings, he was an incredibly happy kid who ignored what doctors said he would be able to do. I hope he knew how much he was loved. Two of my friends have kids with CP, both were premature babies. One has mild symptoms, the other has moderate symptoms but is still keeping up with her peers.

A friend was told at 18 by the doctor who diagnosed her endometriosis that she was consequently sterile. She was devastated and in reaction had a period of recklessness including unprotected sex. By complete chance, she learned that she was pregnant at 5 months, and she was until then very skinny so with no way of knowing (she told me she started showing immediately after learning about the pregnangcy). It was past the legal abortion time in our country, and although she loves her son dearly, it clearly is not the circumstances (or the father) she wanted, it completely derailed her life plans. These doctors make me so angry. Although my doctor did actually tell me the right way about the fertility impact my PCOS could have, he also told me the "cure" would be to get pregnant while I never want to be lol. So glad there are more and more doctors like you out there, and you participate so much in educating both patients and practitioners.

As someone who lives with what most doctors would define as a relatively severe form of cerebral palsy (CP), I sincerely appreciate how you approached this episode. There are so many misconceptions related to acquiring and living with CP, and I feel you did a great job debunking those! Personally, my parents were told I would be "a complete vegetable" due to hypoxia caused by the umbilical cord becoming wrapped around my throat when they were trying to turn me around in the womb. Today, I have a Master's degree in social work and I am a manager in a children's hospital. All this is to say that people will CP 100% can lead healthy, happy, and meaningful lives (with unique challenges, of course). I think it is important for doctors to provide the scope of possibilities when sharing a diagnosis of any kind because it is crucial to being honest WHILE offering a realistic sense of hope. Anyway, thank you for addressing this in such a thoughtful way!

I'm mad with you over that one! I'm a disabled adult with a physical disability called Spina Bifida... That is a birth defect. CP, however, is generally caused by a traumatic birth or something like a stroke in utero. I've never known/heard of anyone getting that diagnosis from a lack of prenatal care.

By definition it is an able persons idea that those with disabilities are less than as a result of how they present in the world. While this did pertain to a disability, where the experience of ableism is common and likely, that wasn't what was taking place but merely inaccurate information being presented as it relates to a disability. The reason it's so problematic is because in the case of birth defects like mine doctors highly discourage continuation of a pregnancy as a result of what might be the reality of the situation when it often isn't the case. People viewing the episode of this show now believe prenatal care will prevent CP when it won't prevent it and lack of prenatal care isn't the cause.

As a young adult with CP thank you also most people with CP could classify as neurodivergent and it can occur anytime before the age of 5

Oh my gosh! The same thing happened to a coworker of mine. Luckily, she & her doctor caught that she was pregnant at 6 months. She was shocked as we all were at work!!!!

I have minor cerebral palsy i just have a limp and tight hip muscle. Thank you for saying that because some people just think it’s always like the severe case and have speaking difficulties and are wheelchair bound. For my parents it was different I was 6 when they discovered it, I think that helped them. At that point they already knew that I was a typical kid. I wish more people were educating because this is very sad for the mother and not good for her mental health

I used to think it was BS until I met somebody who found out they were pregnant in pre-op for a colonoscopy. Turns out it wasn't GI issues.

A cousin has CP. She’s in her 30’s and although she sometimes has a a hard time getting around, she works a PT job and seems to be happy. I know it’s hard on her parents and I’m not sure what arrangements are in place once they pass, but Elizabeth seems to be living her life to the fullest!

I absolutely love this series. I very commonly use that saying of "You do the best you can with the information that you have" for all sorts of situations. Also thank you for saying everything after about cerebral palsy. I am disabled and I really appreciated hearing that you said being disabled isn't a life ending sentence.

Thank you for sharing! It’s true about people still getting pregnant with endometriosis. My mom was diagnosed at 27 and they said if she wants to have kids do it now. Within 6 months of trying she got pregnant with me and a year and a half later had my sister. It’s completely possible and not the end of the world if you get diagnosed with it!❤️

My aunt has cerebral palsy and she's a badass. She was a CEO of an investment firm for several years, she went to college at 16, and she's raised 2 kids! Cerebral palsy is a difficult disability to live with, but people with it can still live fulfilling lives with it!
